Bleeding Out Should be Adjusted When You're Respawned

I've been meaning to make this topic for awhile. It's nothing major or game changing at all, but more of a Quality of Life improvement for the match and the player affected. 

As of right now, when you get knocked about 3 times during a match and revived all three times. Your Bleedout timer changes. I believe the timer is like 90 seconds by default but once you're at that point when you get the 3rd or 4th knockdown. You will bleedout super fast which is like 15 seconds and then you're just dead.

Now, this is fine. I think the way bleedout in this game works perfectly. 

However, what I disagree with is when your teammates go through the trouble to respawn you and then you get knocked again. Guess what? That same bleedout timer is still on you. You will still bleedout in the next like 15 seconds and that is unfair.

When you get respawned in this game. The system that causes this bleedout should be reset on the player(s) respawned. Respawn Beacons exist to give you another fighting chance. 

Please consider adjusting this mechanic. It'll really help with Pub Matches and Ranked the most. Scrims and Tournaments and Pro Competitive play don't really see this issue that much. In Pubs and Ranked, you might encounter this frustration and it is something that should be improved for the future of Apex Legends. 

I hope this post makes sense and isn't confusing.

  • @Leo_the_Lion25 They barely cared about fixing the footsteps audio, what makes you think they will give a sht about this?
    I completely agree with you, but I am realistic and they won't fix this soon.

    @Astropithecus_93 The foot step audio is much harder to fix much like muzzle flash was. I do think the devs will do something about it one day. I also believe we'll have the options in our sound settings to lower our own teammate's footsteps.

    But this bleeding out and getting respawned with a reset bleedout timer is something that can be easily updated.

    Which is why I'm suggesting it so the devs can see it or a moderator on the forums can pass it off to the developer team which is what happens to most of these suggestion topics.

    Some changes and feedback do make it. I've seen it many times.

    To add to this, when you get knocked, the timers are these:

    • 90 seconds
    • 60 seconds
    • 30 seconds
    • 15 seconds

    These timers don't reset when you get respawn.

    I feel like this thread needs to be bump and sent to the developer team lol.

    Path Notes were good and the new Portable Respawn is awesome. After the event is over, the new Portable Respawn Beacon will be a normal item.

    Still, I think this is something to add to the Quality of Life changes.

    I'm bumping this thread again because Season 6 lowered Armor Health and the Time To Kill is faster this season with some very powerful weapons.

    I think this change should be looked at and we can now craft respawn mobile beacons etc. This change will be a minor game changer if it ever goes live. Please consider making the adjustments when respawning our teammates back so they aren't punished when they're knocked again.
