I simply do not understand how the decision-makers think. I'm 52, a professional IT Manager, and played games from age 9.
The previous Apex Arenas is without a doubt the best mode ever made in Apex. It tested 3 against 3 and it was fantastic and brutal to test true skills.
If some people did not like it, why is that an issue, just don't play it. Play Trios or run around in firing range.
The clever thing to do is give players the choice to play any mode ever created in Apex with the option to choose any map ever created - fitting the game mode.
Why limit them and cycle maps randomly? Let your players make the choice. You will get much better stats to know what to improve on.
You will get 10's of Thousands of more players. Don't EA and Respawn know this?
I say Arenas was the BEST.
Please EA and Respawn whoever makes the intelligent decision. Give your players the complete choice and see how your player base skyrockets.
This is elementary.

@SeeWortelI don't know how those data centers work exactly but from my understanding the map rotation is very good idea that keeps everyone engaged. Choosing maps would result in 80% of player base always choosing one map and people who like different ones would have to wait for a long time.
NOW, the reason I am here: Why did they remove Arenas?
We need Arenas back. I know a lot of people got fed up with it and its issues, but I started playing Apex in Season 15, I could never really enjoy Arenas when they removed it like 2 months after. I've improved so much at the game, and I would really like to try it again as an experienced player, but guess what, I can't. RESPAWN, BRING BACK ARENAS FFS!!! The whole matchmaking and ranked system is broken anyway, same goes for cheaters plaguing the game. There's no reason to remove the gamemode itself..
