Here’s how to bring it back completely without complaints. So we have knock down shields for a reason right well. Put them to use. Lifeline’s drown will be sent out to revive your downed player but the shield only goes up if the player downed is sheilding. Then for lifeline herself when she revives manually the shield will come out but the damage that is being absorbed is taken out of her evo shield
@Ghearst45Honestly I feel like a better addition is a ‘’cancel’’ for the downed player being auto revived... when your being auto revived on top of a thermite or need to move for some other reason and can’t your pretty much dead
@Ghearst45 By manual revive are you talking about how her old revive used to work? If so then absolutely not. If I were Lifeline and using my passive shield meant risking my own armor a lot of allies are staying on the ground until I finish the fight. No way I'm risking my armor in the middle of a fire fight and her passive shield is unnecessary unless there's someone likely to shoot at her.
I agree! Bring lifeline's shield back and nerf it a little!! Dont remove cool aspects of the game and things that make a legend interesting to play!! People going to complain about everything! But what makes the game interesting is things like this! The gameplay around lifeline's shield, the gameplay around Gibby's Dome. Cmon Respawn!
I don't think there's any way to give Lifeline a shield back unless you give up her ultimate to be able to deploy a shield in a direction. Though it could be possible to just relegate her Care Package to a Passive but then she'd have 3 passives akin to this:
[Class Passive] - Extra compartment in blue supply bins can be opened
[Passive] COMBAT REVIVE - Deploy D.O.C to revive teammates, leaving Lifeline free to defend.
[Tactical] D.O.C. Heal Drone - The Drone Of Compassion (DOC) automatically heals those near it over time.
*New* [Ultimate Passive] Care Package - In certain areas of the map (randomized each match), Lifeline can active a beacon to spawn a Care Package.
*New* [Ultimate] D.O.C. Combat Shield - Lifeline deploys her D.O.C. to set a (750 HP) shield in a direction for 10 seconds that blocks all damage. {1 minute 30 second cooldown}
