@DevenyiTibibacsi I completely agree, they buffed him before becase caustic gas wasn’t scary enough, and it seems time to do that again, given his recent nerfs and others buffs. My best solution to this would be to make his traps indestructible again. It would make it so the reckless w key pushers don’t have an easy out.
- @BigMacAttack8u The indestructible barrels were cheap kills that didn't give the other player any chance to escape some of the situations when locked in a room.
We talked about having them be pushable then, or that the spread of gas would be much wider when shooting a barrel since more gas came out at once.
Imo, yes, Caustic could use some new tricks, but indestructible barrels from before is just bad.- @DrWizardo Indestructible barrels is a quick fix for a bigger issue. A lot of legends need fixing. I’ve been asking for a caustic buff for almost a year now, I just want something done at this point 😐
For caustic I'd probably give him a respawning amount of barrels that is comparable to Wattson Pylons. Personally just think he could use more barrels.
That or maybe a movement buff while inside the gas where he gets like 75% of the buff Octane gets but only while in Gas
or maybe he gets a damage reduction while in the gas.
Or perhaps have his gas heal him over time at the speed that Watson/octanes passive regeneration works but he has to be in active gas for the regeneration and it's only for white health like he's grown such an affinity for his poison that it heals him.
These are some ideas that could be balanced to work. Keyword not all of them applied to him at once tho that'd be broken
Imagine nerfing a legend ability, then complaining about static barrels you can destroy by shooting the bottom of them, or just walking around them
