That would be a great addition tbh, I actually tried when the game first came out because in most games you can do that
I think the fact that you can't destroy detonated traps is a good thing, if you've triggered it then you should take some gassy goodness.
If there was a nerf to be had it would be that Caustic players & team members cannot detonate their own traps.

It just doesn’t make sense. Why all of a sudden can’t I shoot them? It’s not like it’ll be a huge nerf to him. Because then you have to pick between lowering your guard and risk getting shot by caustic or just wait till they’re done. So it’s not like caustic himself won’t be able to benefit from this. He can kill you while you’re focused on his traps. Think about it. You barge in a building, traps go off, you quickly try to get rid of em, but you get gunned down cause you didn’t pay attention to the enemy.
Caustic main here. That would be a pretty big nerf. Smart players just back off. My hitbox is huge. All we have is our traps, which are 75% of the time only effective when the other player makes a mistake
