So after his traps are detonated and the gas is released, shooting the now empty canister should make the remaining gas magically disappear?

Who said anything about it magically disappearing? Where did I say that? Quote it. It shouldn’t make it “magically” disappear but it should make it stop shooting out smoke. Because, ya know, it’s destroyed.
