I'd say it takes just as much work to get kills in Arena as it does in Battle Royale. There is literally no reason to play Arena since you don't get any stats. If you guys don't want the kills and damage to count then at least make a separate kill and damage tracker for our banners for Arena. I enjoy Arena more than BR already but it's really a shame that there is no incentive to play.
so you play to show off, otherwise there is no reason to play a game...
man, I miss those days, where people just played for the joy of it, and not for banners, badges, points or what ever...
I'm not sure it's necessarily a showing off thing. It would be just nice if your kills did contribute to overall character progress. I've had teammates back out if games if they've seen my "newly unlocked" character I have only 30kills with for example.
It’s much easier to get a lot of damage in arena, been getting 2k plus damage every game.
Except Arena does have trackers, it's just not shared with normal kill trackers since it's way easier to get kills in arena than hunting down players in the lootfest. Arena has ranked coming around the corner. There is very much a reason to play and practice it.... You just want it to inflate your trackers to make you look better and they specifically avoided that...
It takes more work to get kills in the mode that makes you land, find weapons, deck them out and find people in the open map when you can be third parties in comparison to picking your gun and being matched against no more than an equally capable squad without the ability to get anything better without taking it after the drop comes mid-march. ...
Otherwise this would be more impressive in just royale instead of arena.... And wins come much quicker and at a 50/50 chance at equal skill instead of a 1/20 chance at outperforming 57 other players not on your party....
I mean its a competitive game, therefore its kinda nice to have something to show for your competition achievements. I personally enjoy watching my stats go up and keeping track of them. Not for showing off, but mainly for myself.
