The game is great mostly but I can't hear footsteps when i'm playing.
I can barely hear them when spectating a team mate, but while playing I hear no footsteps from enemies or friendlies.
Are you playing with a headset? If so what headset? Cause I play on PS4 and I can hear footsteps just fine. As well what direction they are moving. Same with gunfire. If I might make a suggestion a pair of Turtle Beach stealth 200 is what I use and they're only $40 US.

I have purchased an arctis pro + gamedac headset, no more missing foot step sounds.
I'm on PS4 and hear them loud and clear with android earbuds.
Struggling to hear footsteps on xbox one with Astro A40's. I believe its an xbox/console issue as I've noticed PC players can hear enemies from a long distance.
I have hyperX Stinger and I don't hearing sound efficiently equal my friends.
If my sound is in maximo, I hear the footsteps, but the others sounds stay insupportable loud.
In the fortnite my headset is perfect. In high distance I hearing the footsteps enemies.
I still have this problem in season 2
Yeah on pc we can hear them on the other side of a mountain or halfway across the map. But example pathfinder walking right up behind us on a metal floor makes no sound at all.
