Can't pickup Black Market loot if Ping is mapped to X

Im on Ps4 and use custom controls.  Essentially X is to ping because i remapped R1 to Tactical and L1 to Jump.  Doing this didnt allow me to ping items in death crates, and i was okay with that.  But after trying out Lobas ultimate, it doesnt allow me to pickup anything at all.  In the ult menu it says "X Equip, Ping X"  Essentially all it allows me to do is ping loot in the Black market, i cant physically pick it up.  Kinda bummed. 

Also another problem with custom control schemes that has been there since launch, is that when viewing the map, it doesnt allow you to ping a location on the map if your ping button is anything other than R1.
