I mean they won't be in your lobbies that long in ranked, and in pubs, I get preds in my game, so what?
Who are they supposed to play with if they are removed from all casual lobbies? So their game should be limited because you don't like to lose?
I agree with @Irres169. When I play pubs as a solo, I might have 1-5 current or ex preds/masters in my lobbies but that is totally acceptable. If i want a challenge, I drop hot with them but if I dont wanna sweat, I jump somewhere safer. Seems to me that too many people on this forum call everyone who is better than them for "sweats" who they dont want in their lobby but they have nothing against having player worse than them in their lobbies hrmm.
In my opinion, skill is gained by getting your butt kicked by those who are better than you and as you gradually become better yourself, you are also gradually becoming the one who is doing the butt kicking, i.e being rewarded for your skill progression. Imagine how unrewarding it would be if also pubs had a strict sbmm and all the players in the lobby would be exactly as good as you. Everyone K/D would progress towards 1 and every match would feel as ranked.
- @Balladalidila Yeah right put us against people with thousands of hours in this game that plays all day everyday when most of us are just casuals lol, learn, learn to get destroyed instantly. The only real thing im learning is how to run.

Thats exactly what lower skills levels players are experiencing and its doing great Ha ha. Clearly dude you are below 25.
I haven’t got time to put thousands of hours into this game. I don’t have mummy and daddy paying my bills. I have a life, i work and wanna relax playing casual.
I can guarantee there are no preds/masters above 30 unless they get paid for it as a living.
and by your theory you should gamble against a slot machine because you will win eventually 🤣
or playing against a premier league football team when you are an amateur sunday league football, yeh you will get better 🤣
or by fighting Canelo alvarez or tyson fury as someone who’s had two school fights in your life, yeh you’ll get better 🤣🤣🤣

lastly the reaction speed and time of a 14-21 year olds is far quicker then a 30+ year old. And with reaction speeds like that they should be doing far more with their life but hey that society now nobody actually wants to work for a living they just wanna stream and play a computer game and then loads of money that way when they will actually benefit society doing something more constructive with their talents
I dont know if you were talking to me but Im 35, have a 9-5 job and other hobbies than Apex. And I rarely play ranked anymore but usually just bring up main up to Diamond 4 or 3 every split and then pubs for the rest of the split. Why? Because I am like you; "I have a life, I work and wanna relax playing casual", which is the case now when casual is a mix of players of all skill levels, probably mirror the overall player skill distribution to some extent. But if they made casual with a strict skill based matchmaking, casual wouldnt be relaxing anymore, would it?
Ps, and whats with all straw man arguments and over exaggerations? The matchmaking in casual is not even comparable with having a premier league football team playing a amateur Sunday team.... If you think thats a good comparison, you clearly overestimate the overall level of the average casual lobby. I would say that a gold lobby often can be harder than my casual lobbies. Yes you will run into a highly skilled player once in a while but most players are quite bad, which this forum is a proof of with all "my random teammates suck"-threads.
Well, its not like I am aiming to be a PRO either. I just said that it seems to me that what many SBMM-complainers what is to feel good and skilled without having to work for it. A non-existing SBMM in casual will at least allow you to be rewarded for your efforts because when you get better, you will notice it since skill is relative. This would not have been the case if the SBMM is strict since as you get better, all the opponent also get better.

- @eltorro7 I made it to pred season 3. I pay my own bills I also do not stream or make a living off the game. I have well over 3500 hours into the game. For some apex is their hobby. They dont watch tv they dont go out and bowl or watch movies. They stay inside and play what they enjoy.
So some having a higher skill verse those who have other hobbies is going to be in everything on earth. No matter the hobby there will be millions better then yourself in what hobby you enjoy. Some equal skill as well. So to assume people have to put their life into the game is completely wrong. Your hobbies differ from those of us who put in hours to get better at our hobby.
I am not rich I am a below-average income citizen. I have not put thousands in my computer for gaming. Even if I had lots of money for these things it would not change the fact this game is my hobby and i work hard at my hobby. Just as all the other people do.
@BalladalidilaSome of us don’t want to improve, we just want to casually play the game and have fun... In my regular lobbies I would constantly die but I at least had a chance and in these new lobbies where everyone has 4k badges and 20 bombs and crap I have no chance... I think the issue was because I had a 6 arena win streak so whenever I went to pubs its like oooh this kid won 6 games in a row I should match them with really skilled sweats when arena should not affect BR matchmaking at all... also when you win a game in arenas you shouldn’t go to BR and be the champion squad
- @TheApexLegendNub Sadly games don't operate this way. While some want to just sit back relax and play for fun they are heavily outnumbered in a 2-year-old game who want to play competitively. The game will have much higher skilled users being its age. As I have said on other posts the casual average user heavily outnumbers preds/masters. People act as if they should not be allowed to play together in pubs because of their ranks. So what I gather from most who say this is. I want to have fun. I dont want the preds to have fun. Only I matter.
Imagine queue times for the top 500 in the world preds sometimes more. Those numbers are so low compared to average users that they would be screwed trying to find games at all.- @E9ine_AC Masters and preds are basically the same, preds just play more and last season had records numbers of masters than any other seasons. Im sure if u put all masters and preds together they wont wait that long for a match
