Caustic buff ideas

I had similar thoughts

• Base Kit
  • Caustic Gas immediately slows, damages, and highlights foes entering the gas, preventing the swift entering and exiting tactics that bypass the gas effects.
  • Remote Triggering would be fun.
  • You can already see activated barrel highlights in the world, but map would be fun.
  • Minimum damage currently 4, I think it should be 6. If I am mistaken and it's currently 5, then it needs to be at least 7.
    • Better yet, max damage against standing opponents, scaled damage vs knocked down. Standing tend to take only 2 ticks, but knocked take the brunt.

  • Current
    • Parabolic Force: +75% more throw range
      • Would be nice in base kit
    • Residual Toxins: Nox Vision persists for longer
      • I see relatively no use for it honestly. Could be added to base kit without much change to gameplay.
  • Idea
    • 1.1: Keep Parabolic Force
    • 1.2/2.1: Swift Trap: While holding a barrel for deployment, can press the trigger (fire) to throw the trap as a swiftly deploying trap that deploys in half the time, but it instantly starts emitting gas once its ready.
    • 2.2: Toxic Path: While holding either a gas trap for deployment or the Nox Grenade, Alt Fire to attach it to Caustic, causing Caustic to be the emitter. Effect ends prematurely if he dies. For the trap, it has a wind up before emission, but instantly starts emitting without the need for a nearby foe.
    • 1.3: Parabolic Force + Swift Trap.
• Purple
  • Current
    • Particle Diffuser: +50% radius of Nox Grenade
    • Breathe it in: Heals 2 per second, seemingly.
      • If kept, I would like either a buff, or added to base kit because it's so negligible.
  • Idea
    
    • 1: Keep Particle Diffuser.
    • 2.1: Breathe it in: Buff to at least 5/s. Or add current to base kit.
    • 2.2: Breathe it in mk2: Foes entering the gas are poisoned. Effect is a cross between thermite and nox gas effect: highlighting them in Nox Vision, and dealing 5 ticks of nox damage over time. Also slowing them each tick if Nox Gas slows. May also cleanse allies of enemy poison gas, causing an area of ally+foe poison gas to negate each others poison, acting as just normal gas. Caustic is immune to the poison effect, of course, because he is immune to enemy Nox Gas.
