@fluffyruffz The damage does already raise, it goes from five dps to 10 dps. It is good for area denial, as enemies shouldn’t want to run straight through, (it also slows them and has a slight visual effect when you get in), but caustic can see better in the smoke, and dig threats or other skills can reveal enemies for teammates.
If someone is running straight through your gas and killing you, there is a problem somewhere, and I don’t think it’s the gas.

Actually my damage numbers are wrong, but my point still stands.
Also, I don’t see anywhere how armor prevents the slow effect.
