Caustics traps

Okay, for me Caustic is getting kinda messed. I've mained him since the start of the game and his gas is kind of (obvious/only a simpleton would cross through his gas). Heres the proposal:

For Caustic, his gas in the banner selection and pose area should have an option where caustic can make his gas, more deadlier, but last less longer, or the other way around. as well with lifeline, making her drone last longer, but heal less. Or with gibraltar, Dome soaks more damage, but is a smaller bubble. This selection lets you mess around with characters and actually have fun using them and changing them.

Lastly, I don't know about everyone else, but caustics gas traps should be smaller, like micro balls with red dots, gas comes outta the red dots and you can shoot the dots to disable the gas. This enables the gas traps to also be used to find out where people are, or to notify your team where enemies are walking through or have accidentally activated your trap. ------ I know this probably wouldnt work because of apex's versatile and intricate and well detailed map --- You'd be able to hide them anywhere without people noticing.

  • @S53CTR07 Have to disagree, Caustic traps should remain as consistent as possible in game so changing how long they last and how much damage they do would only confuse players and lead to Caustic being an annoyingly unpredictable legend. Gas traps should also stay the same size - they have a lot of gas in them so it wouldn't make much sense for them to be small red balls - however, I have proposed that they be more difficult to deactivate in several other posts on Caustic. Similarly, making the traps smaller would also cause Caustic to be an annoying character to both deal with and see coming in game.

  • His Traps need to be easy to tell from teammates vs an enemy trap. Last fighting area I couldn't tell which trap was friendly or foe because all three squads had a caustic yesterday. My team was Wattson/Caustic, Enemy was Path/Life/Caustic and a Octane/Caustic/Wraith. 

    Gas canisters everywhere and I would have pissed my teammate off if I disable his gas which I can do.

    I guess that would be a good solution/comeback. I think the game should have more options instead of just battle royale. They should at least create different gamemodes.

  • you can't see the enemies anymore in his gas with a green outline, why??

  • Traps smaller yes I do think they should be and his cult should be more potent then his normal traps and I would like to see a color option for his gas too

    @S53CTR07 In my personal opinion nox gas should do 10 damage per second, but instead damage shields as any other damage source not bypass shields, meaning that you cant get away with killing people with just gas, and instead have to actively shoot people in order to down them. this will nerf his ability to kill people with just gas by increasing the kill time from 10s to 20s, but does not nerf his total damage over time (100 damage over 10s)
