really * me up , this game has a massive !!! massive cheater problem !!!i play in gold and it feels in every second game a cheater kill me !!!sometimes i spec players and you can see it clear !!!shot throw the walls befor he can see enemys , hit like a god every * shot with close distanz weapons all time , wingman every second shot head.its really absolut * and destroy this awesome game so much !!whats up , you give up do anything vs cheaters ?this is really teribble and im sure you lost so much players if you dont do anything !!!i hate it , i stop playing , im so * agressive every * time a cheater kill me.and the best thing is , i report cheaters and the same guys kill me on 1 evening 3 times and really in the next days again and again i see him in my game as champion and sometime he kill me again in the * endgame you have no chance vs aimbot and wallhack.again i see the same names again and again over weeks ... reports are useless !!!you do nothing !!!!!!!!!applaus applaus im so * exited ........ you give up the cheater problem !?!?!?

@Bladerunner78mh Unless there's video proof, there would be no way to tell if the person is cheating or not. Maybe they just really are good at the game. I've had players spectate me because I've steamrolled through the entire lobby. Even wiped 4 squads in 1min 42s with constant combat.I do want to mention that you did say the player was at "Close combat" which would suggest that shots wouldn't be that hard to miss. What is your movement like? Are you moving around enough and compensating your aim in regards to it?Every game has cheaters, but it's how we handle it that helps grow the game. Sometimes they are cheating, but other times players are just really good. How many kills did this player have compared to you? Was he a pred?

@MoNosDirtyGaming I think he meant he gets wiped out with close combat weapons (probably referring to wingman and r99, in my interpretation). He isn't wrong though, I've seen constantly the same aimbotter over several games and even days, I did that because I like sometimes that when I die, I will spectate simply for the taste of seeing how the game will finish, where the circle is going to end and how other players play, simply for this not to see if that enemy who killed me has hacks or not, but sometimes I see aimbotters wether they killed me or they killed my killer, or the killer's killer, etc. If you try to spectate many games you will eventually bump into aimbotters. Yes there are good people playing this game, skilled, etc but the amount of how many aimbotters I personally see is disgusting to be honest. I did once the mistake of keep spectating the same aimbotter to just complain to me and my premades on "look at him how disgusting" and etc, and he won the game, and the mistake was that we obviously started a new game straight after and got into the game with the same cheater (he was the champion and started killing everyone in the lobby again) only that his team was wiped out by another team who had a cheater themselves, I must admit was sort of funny and satisfying to watch him die but at the same time was disgusting realising the enemy was cheating too, and I mean proper aimbotter, when he aims down sights and clicks the aim jumps onto the enemies head and stays there for as long as he clicks. This post seems an overreaction but it's not.

It's built right into the game.Just plug in a controller and let the aim-assist aim for you.I know that's what I did and I just laugh real hard while spamming RT while wraiths try hopelessly to jump and crouch to dodge shots but the aim just stays stuck to them. Then there's players that are able to spoof their mouse+keyboard to appear to be controllers so they can have the best of both worlds (aim assist + m&kb) completely undetected.Respawn encourages cheating with their own mechanics. Do you think they honestly care about cheaters using 3rd party cheats? Of course they don't! Their only concern is money! As long as the money keeps coming in then they won't change the way that they do anything.Respawn doesn't even have a team dedicated to anti-cheat. They just let EasilyDefeated-Anticheat handle it all. You know? the biggest laughing-stock of all anti-cheat providers. They're basically laying out a welcome-mat for cheaters and inviting them in by having EasytoDefeat-Anticheat """"protecting"""" their game.Lets not forget the game is free either; so after finding their old account banned, cheaters just make a new one and are back to cheating within 5mins at most--it's not even an inconvenience for them.So you have four choices: take advantage of the soft-cheats that Respawn has provided, become a full-blown cheater yourself, quit the game, or keep complaining about it knowing full well that Respawn doesn't care.

@Astropithecus_93 Of course mate, I despise cheaters, they're the lowest of the low, but sometimes you die because they're simply better. There's a lot of factors which come into play when deciding if someone is cheating or not, you know?I think PC has the main issues for cheating and on console we rarely see players who have aim bots, but rather players using mouse & keyboard on console and other players who have a turbo button on their console; making it impossible to shoot faster than them.

Lets be honest here, Yes, sometimes players are better than others and thats why you die, but Apex has a HUGE CHEATER PROBLEM especially on Console. You can tell when you get outplayed or maybe “out shot” and you die; or you die because you made a bad decision or move or your accuracy was trash, but you know when you die to a cheater. It is completely different.

Apex is having huge cheating problem. Whoever not admitting this is either living in his own world, or is cheating/macro/scripting too.
Respawn atm are doing nothing to resolve the problem, not even a statement how they will try to deal with it ?

I agree that anyone who says there is no cheating problem on Apex is part of the problem or blind or maybe their servers are just so small they don't encounter cheaters. Either way APEX LEGENDS should NOT be Cross Play with PC!!!! Basic Xbox One or PS4 is gonna lose over PC most of the time. PC has better everything and I'm sure everyone could agree with that. NO CROSS PLAY!!

Alot of you guys in Gold are bad. I have a smurf not because I want to dominate you lower tiers but because I wanna help my friend level in ranked. Truth is there are high levels in your low level lobby.

@creamonurstream Hang on a sec. You've just admitted to using a smurf to dominate lesser players to "help your friend", before then saying it's entirely Respawn's problem? No no.

Let me get this straight. YOU are making smurfs to play in lobbies with players less skilled than you, and are blaming Respawn for "allowing" it? That's absolutely on par with using scripts and macros and blaming Respawn for not somehow stopping it yet.

My friend, the problem is unequivocally you. "You can help your friend" by allowing him to play through his own rank, like the rest of us do. What's going to happen when you artificially boost him to a higher rank than he's capable of playing in? Oh, of course, HE TOO will make a smurf to go back to actually getting kills and wins, and ruining the game for other new/casual players too 🙂

I'll say this once, and clearly. People need to stop looking to others for the permission and guidance to be a decent human being. This is a society-wide cancerous behaviour in far more than just online gaming, but this unfathomable attitude of "If it's there I'll use it" when referring to immoral decision-making has to go. You can't just steal someone's car and blame the owner for leaving it running.

@xTomboyRespecter You sir explained it well. I just started playing Apex but I have experience from other online pvp fps games and I noticed something strange about a lot of players and their aiming. Their hits snap all to well for them to use just their mouse,but it isnt aimbot also... Its aim assist... Thnx for explaining, I am new and didn't even know about that. I came here for answers and got them right away.

Aim assist doesnt snap the sight, it slightly gravitates the sight to an enemy on close range in relation to YOUR movement but not the movement of the enemy. So if you aim straight forward and strafe past an enemy, your sight will automatically bend your aim towards the enemy, but it wont help you track the aim if the enemy moves and you dont. Its a big deal in close combat, "spray and pray" situations, especially with high DPS weapons like R99 etc.
Anyways, I still believe smurfs and high skilled players that havent played much ranked and got demoted down to low tiers (like gold and plat) are both the major cause of people getting melted and one-clipped. Its a poor ranked design and I guess Respawn designed it like this is probably because they get "fake" player count statistics when most players have 2-3 accounts.
