I just met 3 cheaters in 5 different games like how could a dude that snipe you with SMG R-99 and melted you in 200m away, using a wingman destroy a squad with less than 9 bullets, man I hope apex will not become a dead game like pubg and h1z1..
The amount of hackers in this game is making this game unbearable to play. Just had a guy running around with a head shot aim bot and a self revival hack. It pretty sad when Treyarch has a better anti-cheat system than this game does and they don't even care about their own game. This is sad and pathetic this will be dead before the end of the year at this point, mark my words.

Try sea(singapore) servers. After you die you can press TAB to spectate them. You'll see how if they are on ADS it will flick accurately and point to the enemy even behind cover.
And no, it is not because of the netcode.
Ehhh I don't know about that one out of the few hundred games I have played I can think of 3 times where I thought something was fishy

I have about 280 hours in the game (I know, very sweaty), and in the beginning, there were none (obviously).
But cheaters are becoming MUCH more common. 1 out of every 3 games I'm seeing a cheater now.
These are obvious cheaters, you can spectate them and see them track enemies through walls (from far away), get only headshots from SUPER far away, have poor movement (sign of a bad player, but with cheats), etc.
I counted the number of cheaters I saw today compared to other days and it was close to 1 out of 3 just for today. Other people are saying they've played 4 games and seen 2, which I can totally believe.
I love the game, but would hate to see Apex die to cheaters. If I'm going to see a cheater one out of three games, that makes me not want to play anymore.
i think cheating seems also to be a mentality problem. i tryed out to play on different servers not really care about the ping. asia and EU seems to have way more cheaters than US does.

Yesterday I was shot four times with Devotion / Havoc. I got the whole series. Not one bullet missed, even though my opponent and I were in motion. Every shot hit me sensibly, when the enemy used a full-auto.
Today I had three situations in which the opponents knew exactly where I was, although they should not.
Legit as hell.
I agree but it's a way different story in Asia servers... Spent 3 hours today getting killed every game by a level 1-30 in like 3 seconds. These aren't half decent payers.. They land headshots every bullet. And i can confirm that in most cases, I had a blue-purple armour and they would still drain that in half a second. I play on PC in Asia... It's no fun I had to move to console for a lil bit until this is fixed :/

CHEATERS
As of today we’ve banned over 355K players on PC through Easy-Anti-Cheat. The service works but the fight against cheaters is an ongoing war that we’ll need to continue to adapt to and be very vigilant about fighting. We take cheating very seriously and care deeply about the health of Apex Legends for all players.
We are working on improvements to combat cheaters and we’re going to have to be pretty secretive about our plans. Cheaters are crafty and we don’t want them to see us coming. With that said, we can share some high levels things we’re doing:
We are reaching out and working directly with experts, both within and outside of EA, in this area that we can learn from.
Scaling up our anti-cheat team so we have more dedicated resources.
We are adding a report feature on PC to report cheaters in game that goes directly to Easy-Anti-Cheat.
