@NickBeam27 Yeah bro, obviously you have a better understanding. But what difference does it make in game? Some cheat, some don't. A lot do. facts. But to accuse every controller player of cheating is stupid. Some do, some don't, most don't. But I know a lot do but not most, just due to experience. Point is he is preaching it like it's a way of life. It is not. Controller will own pc up close and vise versa in range. Of course sore losers will say - he cheated in any instance. 🙂

@Unitee01 I agree, I would never say everyone who is good is a cheater. Hell, just watching some of the legit pros do their thing is mind boggling... so I know there is crazy skill out there. And I agree, accusing everyone of cheating that has crazy aim isn't realistic. There are some very skilled players out there.
However, there is a lot of cheating and not just in apex, but in the entire competitive gaming industry. And many are seeing it starting to balloon out of control. And with these companies selling out over and over of mods, cronus, strike packs, dead aim and on and on and on... will in fact make ones mind always sit and ponder weather their gaming experience is fair. Most of us will never know for sure, but there are many many times especially in a game one has played over 35,000 games (years or stupid hours) where you start to be able to see in specific situations when something is suspect or is absolute. With that being said, no one should assume just cause they were killed, that the combatant was a cheater.
My kingdom for confirmation... other than that Apex sound is dirt. : )

- 3 years ago@NickBeam27 100% with you on this. I know for a fact that there is a lot of cheating going on on console as the hardware is undetectable. I've reported some players myself. But like you said it does not make sense to call out every person using a controller. Usually my giveaway is turbo crouch..and believe it or not, even that is hard to spot sometimes as it happens so fast, spectating helps.
I've said it before, someone is buying these products, so why not Apex players? I left my closest server and haven't seen sus behavior since tho. - 3 years ago@Unitee01 That turbo crouch is a dead give away. I am a console player on Ps4, I know how fast I can crouch while spamming my R3. I know how long it takes while strafing right and left and the time it takes for the stick to return to center before it can start its motion to the opposite side. So seeing someone strafe at hack speed isn't that hard for a long time roller player either. I find personally or believe that there is more hacking with rollers than Mnk. Not saying MnK players don't have their cheaters but console just seems worse on the reg.
- 3 years ago@NickBeam27 Bro, you are reading my mind - said this in another post a few weeks back, that I think there is more cheating in console lobbies vs pc, because it is undetectable an no one has been banned. 🙂 Damn good on you for noticing this
For the turbo crouch - I recorded my matches for a while and only picked some of it up when I re-played it. It is so fast and it's usually some cracked Wraith who ends up owning the whole lobby or at least half of it lol. The thing is you don't immediately see it in the heat of battle is what I'm getting at. - 3 years ago@Unitee01 Trust me bro, I hate to sit here and say controller players are more of the majority that cheat, but the ugly truth is exactly that - the truth. And you said it exactly right... the main hacks that are the hardest to detect and have replaced the true aim bots and hacks with the new soft hacks are mostly on controller. I would hate to think that more and more Mnk players are switching to controller for the available hacks and the fact that Respawns anti cheat cannot detect them and most of the gaming industry players are now aware of this.
Its a sad world. : ( - 3 years ago@NickBeam27 True that bro. But even without cheating, I'm seeing people switch to controller just for the fact that aa exists. And I'm talking hardcore mnk players and I don't like it either. Mnk was always the competative platform but it almost seems like it's gonna start a new meta...
- 3 years ago@Unitee01 Well as a 50 year old long time roller player, I will say this... as this is me speaking for just myself. That Aim assist doesn't do for me what the many claim it does. And that's not me just saying that to defend roller users. I mean literally it does not do that for me. It has hindered me many a time. But dam I would give anything to have it work for me the way the claims here say it does. It does slow down a bit on far distant targets, but I always sit here and think as I read, "Dam, why doesn't it do that for me!"
My son plays PC and Although I hate playing with PC players, I used to play with him once every couple days for a short session. I couldn't wait for him to end the session so I could go back to playing against controllers, because when ever I play with him, I feel like I've never played video games in my life. Decimated with ease. Out aimed at every turn, out maneuvered consistently. My KD plummets when I play with him.
I just truly believe Mnk should only be able to play with MnK and vice versa for console. consoles hate playing against MnK & MnK hate playing against console players. This is pretty supported on this forum alone.
So many debates, issues and complaints and fights would cease. But then so would some of EA's money. - 3 years ago@NickBeam27 For sure man, I also feel like that when I played roller but I have to be honest - I do find one clipping up close easier and in some ways I miss it since I switched to pc. But something to think about is since I switched I have longer matches, way better damage totals, more fun and just a less toxic and better experience overall. I will never ever ever go back. I will delete Apex off of my PS as soon as I can drag myself away from my PC lol. It is A$$.
- 3 years ago@Unitee01 I could never play PC but not because of anything to do with gaming itself. More so that growing up a mouse and keyboard was always affiliated with working for me. So when I have tried to game with a MnK, I didn't have the feeling like I was playing a game and having fun. Felt like work haha. If that makes any sense. I use a MnK at work a lot for decades so it just ruins the "Yay, im off work and time to play!" - feeling.
- 3 years ago@NickBeam27 Never understood that argument, because it’s really based on a false believe. Gaming got truely formed on pc just thinking back when I started gaming I did that on pc with games like doom hexen duke3d Wolfenstein3d etc.
Moving on to games like half life cs1.5 warcraft3 StarCraft and so on. - 3 years ago@matzesingt Are you suggesting when I use a MnK to play video games and feel like I am working instead of playing is "based on a false belief" ? LOL
Based on the games you highlighted above, I'm gonna guess I'm much older than you are. Cause I started playing on controller with Pong, whatever came after that (colleco Vision?) Atari, Sega Genisis, Sega CD Saturn, Nintendo, Super Nintendo, etc.... Rollers since a small child. MnK was not introduced in my life until grade 8 for typing class. Than MnK in work settings once I hit my 30's over 2 decades ago.
So yes, MnK for me, feels like I am at work doing a job and not on my couch at home having fun, playing a game. : )
