Circle damage increase feedback thread UPDATED June14.

I believe the new damage is unnecessary and in fact punishes good players in which I will explain below.

3 times yesterday myself and my squad dropped hot, we like to play aggressive and enjoy the fight. We were dropping where about 3-4 other squads would be dropping. It just so happened that these areas were quite far from the first zone.

We got involved in the fight, intense as you know, we slowly worked our way through all the squads looting as we went. We just took on 4 squads, were reaping our rewards of loot and happy that we made it through the intense firefight... however by this time we were not focusing on the zone, I don't think we even had time to open our map. before we knew it we were all in the zone and dead withing 6.5 seconds, not even a chance to heal as it slows us down and not fast enough to make it out while taking on damage.

So here you have a scenario where an 'Elite' squad has just won a 4 vs 1 scenario and just to be killed by the zone... 

Our only options to counter this are drop more central? whats the point, we have the large map for a reason.

Run from the fight? Okay we get shot in the back OR get 0 loot just to face a squad fully looted who happened to land closer to where the first zone is. Luck not skill.

MY SUGGESTION

If you want to stop campers as well as encouraging squads to engage and fight then you set a squad damage cap for the streak to count. For example 500 damage.

This would encourage players to engage but not be an unrealistic target for 'Elite' players, if you have fake 'Elite' players who are just camping and don't have the skill it will force them to expose themselves and take a few shots to which the true skilled players will shine through and win the fight. 

Keep the zones as they were.
