Close Deathbox keybinding

I'm a left handed player and I have trouble closing deathboxes when I'm about to get shot. Everyone does! For me, the ESC key is the only way and its too far away from both of my hands. Tried C:\Users\jhern\Saved Games\Respawn\Apex\local\settings.cfg , tried changing bindings around, but there's no obvious way to bind this action.

Any help?

Respawn has actually taken note of this issue and is working on possibly adding in an option to keep the death box menu open when taking damage.
