I truly thought that I was the only one that thought that. If you say something on Reddit they downvote you and say get good. I recently came back to the game haven't played since season 4. However, I was a console player then and now play on PC, and in any gunfight that I do not get the drop on I am down in 2 seconds. I just got out of a match where I was hit by a wingman 3 times in less than 3 seconds by a player from an awkward angle. Most matches are similar where a team rolls up and players take me out even before I get a chance to ADS from quite a distance away. Respawn must not care as long as those skins are selling.

Nope my man, this game has loads of cheats on the NA servers, pretty much every Lobby I play in.
It's nothing like where it was at the beginning of this game, and that's to be expected, when a game is popular, it's only going to draw more.
There's only a few ways to out shoot/kill them!
1. Don't go face to face against players, trying to kill them right in front of you!
2. Sneek around the map, sure if they have a Wallhack, they know where you are at, but if they are off in the distance coming to you, and you have some scopes on your guns, you can take cover and pick them off as they approach.
I try to stay out of players faces when I'm shooting, and I try to sneek around, looking for them, before they find me.
Get better people yell, it's complete BS, because if someone is using a really good Silent/PSilent on you, and they are decent with it, it's going to be next to impossible to live!
Just remember a lot of the peeps using cheats are also decent players, which makes it even harder, next to impossible to survive!
It's really sad because there is a lot of potential to this game. But they currently seem focused on expanding the game than actually fixing it. As if the bugs arent enough to deal with, you cant get into hardly any lobby that doesnt have aimbot or wallhacks. Starting in season 3 and coming back at season 10, the only difference there seems to be is that they dont even care to hide that they are cheating anymore. Which furthermore pokes at the accusation that EA really doesnt care about their playerbase as long as people spend money on their overpriced content. Sadly, I have a feeling this game will end up going the same route WZ did and lose a large chunk of its playerbase simply due to the failure of the Devs to fix their game and protect it. It's sad really, very beautiful game with incompetent creators 😭.
LOL I got fed up in the control mode and just crouched behind a wall and after a while someone walked right up to me. I wasnt even anywhere you should be looking LMAO Respawn doesnt have any control of their game anymore.
I truly believe probably a third of the players are using some type of hack in the PC lobbies. Like you said soft hacks or straight-up rage hacking. I have never seen so many players that can hit all headshots with an R-99 300 meters away.
