I'm glad to see there are a lot of people posting about ranked matchmaking. This season has been absolutely terrible. I went from platinum 1 last season, to not being able to get past gold 3 this season.... seriously what the hell is going on? I thought it was supposed to be team based? How is it that I'm supposed to CARRY MY ENTIRE TEAM AND 1V3 EVERY SQUAD IN ORDER TO MOVE PAST GOLD? One time I had 2 respawns, 4 kills/knocks, and I still went back -22. This game is punishing me for having terrible teammates. It's impossible to rank up. It's probably easier to play in diamond than it is in gold because at least my team would know how to play....

@Tooljeb1987 nah m8, more like its punishing you for not reaching the top teams. its not about getting most kills, however a good kill count gives you good RP if you finish in the top. Its a Battle Royale, not TDM. Did you ever notice who the winning team is ? Its the last team standing, not the one with the most kills.. I mean kill away but just because you can kill 6 people in first 30 seconds after landing or whatever you it should not make you the winner.. The rank system is just fine, the problem is the way people play it + apex matchmaking is absolute garbage. Remember 3 players = 3 different minds. Dont expect others to do just like you..

We really need a rank requirement of at least level 100. Both of my teammates were below level 40 and were completely useless, they couldn't even help themselves. This isn't "skill based matchmaking", this is BABYSITTING 101, especially considering the champion team had two level 100s+, although there was one who's level 42 and of a higher rank than my two "Rookie" teammates.

That's another thing, why are players who are good on their own completely expected to clutch 1v3 every single fight? Why do we keep getting useless teammates, especially in a new rank system that expects these teammates to fight alongside us?

Went down trying to fight a full team (they pushed me one by one, but I wasn't healed when the second one pushed), while these two "teammates" just sat back, picked their noses, and died on sight. Quit forcing me to babysit noob teammates EA/Respawn, its getting old and annoying.
