Congratulations Respawn, you ruined Apex.

Aim assist is the most devastating thing that ever happened to my kd/a as solo player. I dont know what EA's statistics show as they really love to stare at those, but in my experience against similar skill level players that i encounter, i end up getting beamed for 200 by r99 in 0.5 seconds more often then not and it is not hard to tell that majority of peoples that manage to kill me are on controller. Spend two thousand hours mastering strafes and movement against MnK players just to run into situation where none of the stuff works against controller players as they track way too easily no matter what kinda lightspeed you travel at.

Part of this is because there is no way to tell if somebody is on MnK or controller before engaging on them so there is really no viable tactic to choose from. if i play r99 i need to get close and if i get close to controller player it is absolutely lethal if they see me for a split second somewhere, play on headglitch? works great vs MnK but not controller. Go for shotgun shots? they always hit 100+ stacks, not a good option. play long range? get knock and they just hit lifeline res and after that knock you need to push, being again in unfavorable situation in close range vs controllers essentially also having to possibly run over an open area to get there without cover
