A casual-feeling mode like Control has been the only thing getting me to log in this year, to be honest. It's genuinely the only Apex mode I've touched in 2022, unless you count the brief minutes I spent in the firing range just before playing Control. It's quite nice to have a casual clusterf-mode where no stats are kept and underskilled randoms are a lot more entertaining than frustrating. It's no coincidence that 'Control Points' has always been a popular mode/concept or that it carried a game like Team Fortress 2 for over a decade. The fundamental game mode is a lot of fun while requiring less players and less commitment to get into. The variety is great, either way... If I queue solo, then I prefer Control to Arenas to BR. If I queue with friends, then I prefer BR to Arenas to Control. Apex may be new at it, but it's a proven FPS game mode and it's so nice to have the option. Nice enough to get me to log in after months away. Let me know when it comes back and I'll come play again. 😉 How about making this a permanent mode?
i have allready got many games where we have all the 2 best zones and most of the kills and enemy has 3-4afk and randomly enemy gets all the points and our team points are just stuck !
dont even start with the cheaters... playd 15games without cheating it okey win or lose but to much cheaters and nothing done about it i leave the game be and go play other games
