Controller doesn’t belong in Pc lobbies, nerf aim assist

At this point it’s very clear that it’s a broken input method. The aim assist with inhuman tracking makes it that anyone who gets into aim assist range can beam you without even touching their stick....

@XxColdFangxXThere’s no misconception, I tried it out myself and after an hour without prior controller experience o was getting far more consistent beams than with mouse and keyboard. I barely use the aim stick, it just locks on and you micro-adjust if even at all. You basically have to get into the AA lock-on bubble and then the computer basically takes over for you. There’s a reason many people are switching, it’s an easy feel good boost without actually requiring much skill.

edit: and just as an FYI, I’m a multiple times master player with 3500+ hours in this game. I have somewhat of an idea how things work.

Now you're barely using your stick instead of not at all? No offense but I've noticed mnk players will say just about anything to make their point seem correct.
I've played on console for 20 years. I like the simplicity of the controller over mnk. I play against people with aa all the time and have seen good aa locks and awful aa locks.
What aa has never done, is follow a target. There is however a brief pull, but as soon as they're out of the crosshair, it's gone.
I've tested and looked for it over and over again in the fireing range on moving dummies and in game and I've found the aa lock and pull to be very inconsistent. 

It's hardly ever shown up in game against an actual opponent, but it'll happily pull to a moving dummy for less than a second before the dummy moves, but then doesn't want to re lock when the dummy comes back. 

But it's funny, cause if aa is doing all the aiming for me, then why can I turn my aa off, and with a bit of practicing to adjust, still get within damage range of when aa is on? If it was truly op I should be getting way more damage with it on. 

Lol bringing out your rank. A misconception is still a misconception no matter who it's coming from.

    @XxColdFangxX You forgot how occasionally aim assist will drift onto a downed guy and get you beamed or drift onto the guy you’re not trying to kill at the moment if aim assist actually decides to work.

      Exactly. I can't even count the number of times I've had that happen and the fact that the og claims for it to be better within an hour of playing on controller and thinks it requires very little skill to use one tells me they known very little about what it's like using a controller.
      I've had to fight against my aa just to keep up with moving opponents and that's after adjusting look sensitivities, if it weren't for the fact that I don't want to relearn how to play a game I've already struggled so much to progress in I'd just turn my aa off.

        I’d like to respond to what both of you have said, but it’s hard to argue when it’s obvious that you guys have no idea how AA works at the highest skill levels. Especially bringing in the “you aim with your whole arm argument”. You’re literally getting inhuman tracking that’s done by a computer
