Count damage as points in ranked!
Anyone else do lots of damage in matches but little kills and get pissed for not getting rewarded for it? Damage should count for points in ranked. If assists count, there's no reason damage shouldn't count, too.

You are only focusing on the situations when you do much damage but are unlucky with the kill/assist count but you are conveniently forgetting that there are situations when you get a free kill/assist when doing little damage, like one tapping an enemy that your teammate or another enemy took down to 1 hp. Bottom line is that IN THE LONG RUN, the big damage dealers will get more kills/assists than the small damage dealers.
And it would ofc be a terrible idea to allow people to farm RPs by doing damage for instance with a charge rifle... But I would personally have nothing against if the RPs awarded for a kill was distributed based on % of your teams total dealt damage to that enemy (within a certain time interval before the knockdown, just like how the current system works).
Example: you and a teammate knocks down an enemy with full purple armor. You are doing 150 dmg while your teammate is doing 50 dmg within 7.5 seconds before the knockdown. When that enemy is executed, you will be awarded 75% and your teammate is awarded 25% of the RPs for that kill.
This system would reward the ones contributing to fights and actually kinda severely punishing players who just runs after, doing nothing and just get carried through the ranks by one tapping to get assists
- @DaDeDimson I agree. 1000 damage is 10 points for instance sounds good to me.
And for all who are on about the camping situation, i dont think it will improve camping all that much.
You cant camp for all that long anyway due to the ring..... and if some lucky squad finds a good place to snipe within the ring then it will take just 1 squad with ar or smg's to suprise/destroy them.
Im all for more ways to make points in ranked.. especially sinds low/new players face high/pred from gold to diamond. @Irres169Of course we can have a civil conversation, just be sure to put some real thought behind your posts and learn to read and understand what others are saying. For example I don't have a problem with ppl ratting for placement because they had some bad teammates or were forced into it. You're right tho it is part of the game. I just get really annoyed with guys who seriously camp and hid the whole game. Its not just the enemy I have a problem with doing it, its my own randoms that do this stuff. I myself have ditched teammates, hid, and came back to win the game. However I took shots at ppl the most of the time went back to cover and wanted for my chances. I never said go 3v1 just don't let guys get away with hiding the whole dam game. If you are shooting ppl your engaging and letting everyone know where you are thats not trash damage. And seriously? Exploitation is what your worried about? Lol you must be one of those guys that says everyone who kills you is hacking. The top apex players team up with different squads because they are so obsessed with their rankings. Exploitation is not an issue with 95 percent of players. Idk about you but its hard for me just to find 2 other guys to squad up with and you are thinking about 6 guys joining together to get damage points? Haha.

For example I complained about guys doing nothing but hiding, not guys having to rat because they didn't have much of a choice. I have been in those situations plenty. How do you hunt down your own teammates for hiding? See I'm not just complaining about the enemy I am complaining about my own teammates as well.
If you are shooting at another team and letting others know where you are that is not trash damage you are engaging another team from a distance.
So your main point is that you are worried about exploitation when we already know that the top apex players conspire together with 6 man squads to win games. Ok ya good point I mean I struggle to find 2 players I don't mind playing ranked with but ya I'm sure tons of players have 5 other guys to exploit doing damage to rank up. - @PogeNoob Are you still here? Any Damage that is healed away and doesn't result in a kill is trash damage.
As far s me "thinking everyone is hacking" not sure how you deduced that.
I'm not worried about anything, I was just telling you why they didn't decided to implement this bad idea.

1. You need damage to level up armor genius, this is probably the most obvious count to your ridiculous claim of trash damage.
2. Putting down damage makes players use up heals, which players can run out of greatly effect the outcome of a game.
3. It makes players think I have lost games because my team and I decided to shoot the wrong ppl at the wrong time. But ya Putting damage down that doesn't kill is trash.
I came up with it because of how you mentioned exploits. When did they say that? Yeah I mean the dead guy with the red shield should get points in ranked for being dead with a red shield. :P
