There is no need to worry! Cross Platform Matchmaking will probably not occur if you're queueing up solo or with friends on the same platform, but obviously you will be forced into Cross Platform Servers if partied up with people on different platforms.
Also the belief that KB+Mouse has an advantage over Controller is majorly exaggerated. The best players on PC, like Knoqd for example use a controller on PC, meaning that it is possible to contend against KB+Mouse with a controller.
@CompleatBeet i started apex in season 0 with ps4, now i am 171 on my ps4 account recently, i bought a pc and was very excited to play apex on pc but i really wanted my stuff from ps4 so rip ☹️
