@zombieshoota5000 You're joking, right? INSTANT survey beacons, INSTANT respawning, EMP SHATTERS Wattson defenses, drone so hard to hit, and he still needs buffs?
@CompleatBeetDrone hitbox already been increased to 24, if you have trouble hitting it then you probably need to check your aim.
Wattson pylon can be immediately set up back in within the next 6 second with acceleration.
Plus, Crypto are totally crippled for 40 seconds for both it's tactical & ultimate if the drone is destroy and the drone lost much of it's value as soon as EMP is used.
Usage doesn't really matter? Tell that to the use rate of bloodhound after the buff. With bloodhound buff and the phase of the game itself, bloodhound provide more merit than crypto as recon legend considering his scanned cover a huge aoe, unlike crypto whereby it only scanned what the drone could see.
@DrSeptimus Crypto isn't even supposed to be offensive. He just provides recon for the team and does it astoundingly better than both Bloodhound and Pathfinder.
Crypto isn't used because he suits very little people but is one of the best Legends in this meta. He can instantly and safely scan survey beacons which is insanely broken in high tier play where knowing the next Ring position is so advantageous.
If your teammates both die, you can hide, drone collect both banners and instantly respawn making him the best at respawning allies too.
Saying he takes too long to catch up with allies isn't a valid excuse: he is not supposed to be played offensively.
The reason Crypto is better than Bloodhound is because he can scan both enemies and scan the next ring.
You mean it takes a minute to set up again after an EMP blast? EMP stuns you for about 2-3 seconds, accelerant takes about 5-6 seconds, and fencing off takes another 10-15. He destroys Wattson no questions asked.
@CompleatBeetEhm last NA regional there were if i remember correctly 12 bloodhounds and 3 cryptos in the lobby....BH is better and easier to play than crypto
Crypto gives away his own mobility for the sake of gathering info with drone, while bh can still be active while scanning... that adv is just so freaking insane
You saying Crypto is not meant to be played offensive while he has emp legit blows my mind...they nerfed the emp in a way that it has only an offensive use...Killing the drone is nowadays a joke and supereasy to do for everyone that is higher than silver lol...
I understand that all his little gimmicks with drone are nice and strong but that does not solve his combatissues and massive clunckyness he has to deal with
i could go on and on with a list of issues crypto has but its nonsense...only cryptomains would understand 😉
Crypto is pretty strong, I just think most people use him incorrectly.
Crypto and the drone should be constantly on the move separate of each other. Even in combat, I’d switch to drone for about 2-3 seconds to get a quick view, then immediately switch back. Your not really in danger of dying even in intense combat because you will easily see anyone with your drone that is nearby and can switch back if necessary. The drone is also a “distraction” and you can flank enemies busy trying to shoot down your drone.
Add in the fact that he can ping banners to detect nearby squads, pick up banners with drone, instant revive with drone, scan surveys with drone. That’s a lot of situational awareness which counts more than you think.
- @CompleatBeet If your a good wattson you can easily set back up a building plus you have a whole team to defend for wattson so safely set back up.
- @CompleatBeet How in the world it takes another 10-15 sec to deploy fence? When Wattson already deploy pylon, the pylon also recharge the amount of fence you can placed.
Even if you emp and destroy every single fence & pylon. With 4 charge for the fence, you can just placed the fence before you continue to use accelerant and redeploy pylon. Unless the Wattson is idiot enough not to recharge after spamming fence prior to placing the pylon.@CompleatBeet If your a smart wattson and already have her ult ready you don’t need to use ultimate accelerant and fences only take 2 seconds to recharge so takes 1 second to place one fence giving you enough time and with your teammates to protect you to set up.
