Crypto Rework Ideas

FORGETTING THE FREAKIN’ DRONE for a sec. lol one passive I would like is to have Crypto actually hack things. Examples below: Only one or multiple or a mix of a few can be use:

Hack Vaults: Takes really long to do (definitely not same speed as a loba market or vault key). Maybe relock a vault door to trap someone in for a short/limited time.

Hack Walls: for example any “countdown POI type walls” you know, the ones that you raise. Have him bring them walls down again to cut off an enemy waypoint. Then anyone (team or enemy) can just click the button again to reactivate the wall raise.

Hack Survey Beacons/Consoles: if an enemy uses a ring survey beacon that Crypto specifically hacked, it reveals how many squads alive (no armor or health info), simply “squad of 2 scanned a beacon”, “squad of 1 scanned a beacon”. They don’t have to be marked on map either, because survey beacon reveals which beacon was scanned already. If he hacks a ring console the console will provide wrong information on the next ring location. So when the team locks down what they think it’s the next spot, it’s really not lol (consoles and beacons are hacked for a short time so if a team uses either of these by the time the hack cooldown (15-30) sec is up, all correct info is revealed on a ring console.

Hack scanning abilities only: If I throw my drone forward (WITHOUT entering drone) and it’s scanning a bloodhound or a seer, they cannot use their abilities until Drone is destroyed. Meaning can’t use ability while drone is scanning them. If they lose drone LOS or Crypto enters drone, enemy scan ability is immediately useable.

SO MUCH CAN BE DONE without being so obsessed with that drone all the time. Tired of the constant, have drone follow him, have drone follow enemies etc. THE DONE IS NOT THE LEGEND lol CRYPTO IS. Broken drone is equal to a broken legend, no passive, no tact, no ult (45 secs!!!) lol
