Daily challenges for locked characters

I dont understand why I can get daily challenges for characters I dont even have unlocked. I'm a new player (Less than a week) and I'm enjoying the game so far, but I've had two days in a row so far ...

    @APainfulTruth Thanks for the feedback.

    It sounds like you got unlucky as the challenge pool is quite large so the odds of getting ones you can't complete 2 days in a row are quite small. Of course it can happen, and it wouldn't feel great. 

    Hopefully you're not too far off you first unlock (Octane I'll guess) and hopefully we can address cases like this going forward.
