Dear Late Battlepass Buyers
I think y'all should really understand this concept, before you start to complain about it on the forums. The battle pass is completed by doing weekly AND daily challenges, while also playing enough games to earn the needed EXP. Each season has about 12 weeks, (Or 3 months) of playtime. There's also about 3 challenges per weekly challenges, and 2 other challenges (the ones for daily) that equates to 5 total levels when completed. (Again 3 per set of weekly, 1 for doing 5 daily, and 1 for doing 10 daily).
Assuming you grind all the weekly challenges last minute - like a few of you been doing - that's 12 weeks x 3 guaranteed levels = 36 levels. All the other weekly challenges give anywhere from 3k to 6k BP EXP. Usually the amount you need for a level ranges from 9k to around 54k. The amount of EXP you get after about 9-10 weeks of finishing the weeklies and doing challenges should be enough to finish the battle pass. (I mean, I been doing just fine). Each week has 7 new challenges. 3 are level ups, the other 4 are 3k to 6k EXP. That means each week, you'll only get 12k - 18k for these challenges. (Low number is all 4 being 3k, high number is all 4 being 6k).
Kind of a summary: 36 levels from all weeklies + 12k-18k EXP from the other weekly challenges (I'll just assume all is 6k EXP worth so that be 12 weeks x 4 weekly challenges = 48 x 6k EXP = 288k EXP. Assuming all levels are 9k worth, 288k / 9k = 32 levels. Assuming all levels are 54k, that's 288k / 54k = 5.3.
Possible Outcome 1 (Being generous with level EXP): 36 levels from all battle pass level up challenges + 32 = 68
Possible Outcome 2 (Being harsh with level EXP): 36 levels from all battle pass level up challenges + 5.3 (I'll just say 5) = 41
Based on what you get done, how you preform, and how soon you start doing the challenges will either mean you get less levels than 41 from outcome 2, or you get more levels than outcome 1. HOWEVER, you won't get more levels simply by being last minute season players starting their grind, unless you buy the levels up to level 100, since you cannot buy the last 10 levels.
Possible Outcome 3 (Trying to meet in the middle of the level EXP): 36 levels from all battle pass level up challenges + about 18 levels ((32 challenge levels + 5.3 challenge levels) / 2 = 18.65 average. I say average simply because all the levels won't be 9k worth or 54k worth, they will change through the season) = 54 + doing the 5 daily challenges and the 10 daily challenge EXP (Each day has 3 daily, and each daily is about 3k, there's rarely 6k so I won't calculate that. Doing every daily: 12 weeks x 7 days = 84 days x 9k (3 challenges worth 3k = 9k) = 252k EXP which is (I'm averaging the EXP between 9k and 54k (54k + 9k = 63k which then averages to 31,500 EXP) 252k daily EXP / 31,500 Average EXP (Which clearly won't give an EXACT number, but it's better than nothing) = 8 levels means 36 + 18 + 8 = 62.
Outcome 3 is different because the EXP you need depends on the next level and how much challenges actually give (Which is what I tried to show with averages). If you did all the 1+ bp level weeklies, that's 32 levels and (I'm going to say doing daily and playing gets you about 4 levels just to make things a bit simpler, you might get more or less, it depends, which 4 levels per 12 weeks is 48 levels), so 32 + 48 = 80 levels + the 2 battle pass levels you get for doing 5 and 10 daily per week (2 x 12 = 24) which is 80 levels + 24 daily challenge levels = 104 levels + all the EXP you'll earn from just simply playing should get you to level 110.
The point of this post, is so people UNDERSTAND that buying the battle pass in the last 4, 3, 2 weeks, even the last week is NOT a good idea. Please don't buy the battle pass and then come onto the forums to then say "I can't finish this, please refund!!!" You can see the challenges you need to do, you know how much EXP they give, you know how many levels there are and how many days are left. If you took time like I just did to calculate, you can figure out "oh, I can't finish it last minute".
I hope this helps people before they decide to buy the pass last minute. I mean, unless you're going to buy all 100 levels and then use challenges to get the last 10, or challenges and then buy levels, that's on you. Otherwise, don't waste the initial 10, just to want it back.
