Delete R99

Just... Delete R99. Or at least put it back in Supply drop. that gun should never be on the ground again

It's literally R99 24/7. No other guns matter. Especially when you bring the controller into it so you just get a lazer bullet hose with 0 recoil
You had such a gun weapon variety and balance in Season 6. Why go back? This is such a stupid decision.

In season 6 I heard and saw tons of weapons being used. I Killed and got killed with tons of different weapons. Now, it's literally nothing but stupid R99 and it kills the game. Especially since you have aimbot levels of aim assist on a controller in your game, makes it even worse

I don't know who made this decision, and why

@F0XYB0IARBLE Well umm this was the only season that the 99 was in a crate. They rotate. Dunno, why you say 99 upon testing the volt, is actually stronger than the 99. So if 99 was not there then people would complain about volt.

Wouldn't have a problem with the R99 if they fix consoles and controllers having basically zero recoil.

@F0XYB0IARBLE This sounds like "Delete wingman" - impossible. They bring it back because there is no new gun this season and if they had not done so, the people would have been angry.

@F0XYB0IARBLE R-99 isn’t as good as a volt, if you have a purple light mag then a R-99 is viable but other than that volt is my go to weapon on controller but I wouldn’t mind using a flatline or spitfire instead, R-99 isn’t really a problem at least I personally still use the other weapons that Season 6 got me used to using

Plus, Olympus is really open, so sniping and fighting from a longer range is becoming more common. Sniping with an R-99 is difficult, unless they are literally hacking or have a modded controller or something similar.

I rarely pick up a sniper on the new map.
I used to run sniper on KD and WE all the time.
It seems mastiff pays off more now.
I have no issue with r-99 either.
Controller assist is bs needs to go back to its own special safe space where I don't play.

My son who has only started playing this season but is a pretty good ps4 fortnite player runs double r99 when he can because as he says in his own words. "It is the most broken gun in any game he has played" granted there aren't lots of games he has played just cod and fortnite really. But you get the idea. Watching him and his controller crew rampage through lobby's was funny at first but has now made me realise as a PC M&K player I should stop playing this game.

@Acumental What level is your son at? I seem to remember you making a thread recently about this issue. And your son has only started this season, so he’s probably still fighting the really bad players.

Also, your son is probably exaggerating a little, as there are definitely other guns on par with the R-99, such as the Volt. The Wingman can be another, if you can hit your shots.

Advice: Your son should probably start to switch off the double R-99, especially on the Olympus map, as it isn’t going to work as well once he gets to the level where people can aim and use snipers.

@Sir_Namedmy son is around lvl 100 not exactly sure as I am divorced and he only with me 7 days but plays at his moms as well.

I am not sure if you are a controller player or not but I watch him play and he doesn't need anything other than double r9. He is used to fortnite where aim assist is nothing like it is in apex and he is a good player (kind of born with a controller in his hand. I let him play from very young). In Apex he beaming people at same distances as me with 301. This is partly because he is good with controller but also like I said he used to weak aim assist so in powerful aim assist like this game he finds it easy.
