Derank me!
I just got to platinum, playing ranked for the first time. Platinum devision is trash! Bunch of boosted noobs who doesn't even trying. I have no idea how to rank up with randoms now. All this noobs i...
When I played by myself in Season 4, I got through Platinum by not following my teammates into utterly stupid fights I knew before-hand we weren't going to win. This resulted in me wandering the map alone almost every game until I got to Diamond. If your randoms are bringing you down, then you have to rid yourself of the dead weight.
@SugaryJuiceAgreed! I don't follow those bots into mosh pits resulting in 4-5 teams converging on one location. I mean, most players seem to just drift further and further towards the center of the Ring- so that they can fight . But there's plenty of times where it's better NOT to shoot at an enemy the moment you see one. Sometimes, it's best Not to engage at all- but I know that I've had plenty of players that would rather fight/have fun, and kill themselves, ultimately. Me personally; I'd rather win.
PLUS, I get way more kills the longer I live, rather than jumping into battles without proper planning.
(Although, I usually ping intent or discontent with a decision before the "mud starts to slide downhill". Sometimes I'll humor my teammates and sacrifice myself with 'em...)
@SugaryJuice This sounds about right for every rank below plat too.
YOLO hot zone drop with no loot, 'skill' and basically being dead 30 seconds into the game, because people think it is Call of Duty and not a battle royal. :P
I can't really speak for the sub-Platinum ranks because I was always with friends in Bronze, Silver, and Gold, but I assume it wouldn't be uncommon for low-ranking players to be overly ambitious because they don't have many points to lose and think that all the other low-rank players are noobs.
This is not a solution. Devs should fix the game by adding opportunity to derank from your division. Every competitive game that I played before had this system, but not Apex for some reason. This wierd ranking system makes game casual and just a "noobie hell" on some ranks.
