@PsyhiX69Yeah, because the first one typically indicates matchmaking trying to help people like you win, and then the second one is "hey, you're not gunna win this one :D", specially when you get low level teammates or bots. Its part of a matchmaking that's set to follow a satistic that's "proven" to keep people playing.
Honestly, to keep people playing is to fix bugs, fix issues (like the servers), balance legends/guns, have LTM more frequently, have more creative events, etc.
Instead we get bugs, servers running on 20hz, op legends, LMG/Shotgun world domination, lack of LTM, and the last "creative" event legit pulled people from their teams in a "team base game" (Bloodhound's Chronicals, not talking about Shadowfall, as that's a seasonal thing and not an "event", event), and often times cosmetic items are shoved into our face with a high price tag for 24 items to get an heirloom.
Love the game and all, but a lot of the problems can be fixed or manageable with better servers and such.
Also your matchmaking might suffer from a smurph problem as well as the rest of us, (assuming the Lifeline and Bangalore were absolute gods in the match).
At this point, they might as well make playing Apex for new accounts cost money to create an account and let current accounts keep playing. Why? Well, when someone gets banned for smurphing or hacking, they have to pay up to play again, and chances are, people aren't going to be cheating or smurphing as much. Or just full on stop new accounts from being created. Like, everyone who would ever play Apex, is playing Apex or stopped playing Apex. Just a thought.
Edited: Me and a friend both had "play 12 games as <3 legends>", and so we just threw ourselfs off the map each time, as playing as these legends was not ideal for us (we were in duos), and then the game after that, you can tell matchmaking was trying to figure out how to match us up after losing 12 games in a row. Like its legit a level 9 and a pred player on one team.@Midnight9746Honestly I do the same thing for the challenges like if its get 4 top 10s and 8 top 10s for an event I usually just use no fill as crypto, rat somewhere and then fly a drone around and troll some teams and leave as soon as I reach top 10 on repeat its certainly not a fast process but itโs honestly quicker than playing with randoms and actually trying to survive to top 10
I feel like Apex Legends should be somewhat pay2play at least for Ranked either by simply buying a battlepass to permanently unlock ranked or having to reach like player level 100 to unlock it permanently for the free2play players but then again Hackers would simply set $50+ to the side every month to buy the battlepasses for new accounts so maybe the level requirement would be the better solution for the long term but then you could argue they would just make bot accounts to afk or something... but as long as there is no survival xp or any xp for no performance then I guess it would be fine@TheApexLegendNub Legit all my matchmaking has been, is you enter public lobby, everyone is diamond, master, or pred, some are smurphs, cheaters, and bots. Then you enter ranked, and you get slapped upside the head by less diamonds, master, preds (like the ones who derank from not playing), and more by people who are clearly smurphing and those using cheats.
@PsyhiX69 im done
i agree matchmaking in ranked arena's is the worst thing ever happened to apex

I forgot to add this is in PUBLIC matchmaking.
If You have this in ranked then what is the point of playing there?
@PsyhiX69 that can also happen if the game suspect you smurf (by having high kill/damage games)
- PsyhiX694 years agoSeasoned Ace@George_25_ch This kind of matchmaking actually "gives" You high kill games. When I am in high-tier lobby I can't stand a change against full stacked predator squad. But then I land in low-tier lobby and kill few players along the way and suddenly, boom, I am predator-level again?
I stand by my initial title for this thread that the "matchmaking suffers from bipolar disorder" as it gives You only high or low there is no between. - @PsyhiX69 You are not wrong. But you are funny.
- @PsyhiX69 ๐ brilliant way to put it, agreed.
Think about this for a second - all the players that just earned the 20kill badge for the 1st time and are unaware of the way things work... They probably think they dominated 20 good players, meanwhile it was prob 20 noobs. Not that it's easy to kill 20 noobs really, but this game can certainly help you do it.. Sad state for a game to be in.
