Doing a Finisher but Teammate or Enemy Kills last person = No Shields Gained?

@Leo_the_Lion25 The real question is, should the animation still play out for that last play (unless they leave right away) before giving you full shields or should they just drop and automatic shields.

I feel the animation should finish playing because it's risky business doing a finisher and thus should not be rewarded until it is finished.

But as for now, agreed. Give the intended shield to the user, I have had this issue and always pray to the apex gods that my teammates not finish off the last guy before I get my armor back.

Yes. Once you initiate the finisher, you should be locked into getting the rewards regardless if the enemy squad gets wiped before the animation finishes.

Animation times vary, don’t forget.

@DarthVaaparThis is true. Depending on the finishers the Legend has. They are usually 5 seconds by default. That is a shield Battery unless you have Fast Heals

There are a few legends with 6 second finishers who are Gibby (when he sits on you)/Wraith (the one where she punches you and voids you)/Caustic (his three strikes)

There are a few legends that have super fast finisher that is 4 seconds. They are Lifeline (the one where she stabs you in the head)/ Pathfinder (his High 5)/ Wattson.

Wattson is the special one. Both of her finishers are 4 seconds each. However, I like the one where she explodes you.
