@AcumentalYeah, I’m fine to not have crossplay. Of course, it’d be better to have it, but it causes so many issues, so I’m prepared for it to go away.
I just don’t buy that all controller players are stomping on the keyboard players. Good keyboard players hit most of their shots, and still have the movement advantage. Good controller players might hit a bit more than the good keyboard players, but they still lack in mobility. Maybe the low-ish skill levels are suffering more from this, as the aim assist would probably help low-ish skill controller players get the edge on similar skill level keyboard players.
I mean, for lots of console players in the past, it has usually been the other way around, with us being like “how are they that good at aiming? They must be using a keyboard and mouse.” It just seems unlikely to me that all of a sudden controller players are now the dominant force.
