Look what happens when a Predator PC controller player turn off aim assist.
Ok fellas, by reading some of the arguments i will put some facts here:
1. Controller players are not trash, they're putting effort learning all the mechanics involved on a FPS, specially on a BR, they need to have some credit too.
2. Controller Aim Assist actually locks softly on enemies and autotracks with 0ms response (because is in its code: pc_magnet, ads_pull= 0.4 PC, 0.6 console. (Thats 40% and 60% respectively, the rest of the job needs to be done by the user)
3. Every FPS needs 3 basic skills: Aiming (primary) movement and Game Sense.
4.M/K has so many advantages against controller, but those advantages are not free, you need to earn them with a lot a lot of practice, even if you are talented.
Ok, now we can argue.
I don't agree with aim assist being a thing at competitive levels (pubs and casual events are fine) not because i think aim assist transform bad players into gods, its because there're really good players with controllers and aim assist will give them a huge advantage over similar skilled players, on any competitive sport any advantage counts, at top tier levels even the small amount of advantage 1% to 4% won olimpic medals.
And with aim assist we're not talking about 1 to 4%, that's 40% to 60% of help at the most basic skill on any FPS, aim assist is supposed to be a feature to new players and bad players not for PROs.
Every player should be competing with the same rules, and with some players having any kind of assistance that others don't have that rule is broken.
But being realistic, respawn don't want its game being a full competitive Esport, Respawn wants a fully inclusive game where everyone no matter if they're playing with their feets can enjoy the game; even at competitive levels, they're only pushing the tournaments because it's a great show and it's good publicity, and will keep their player base playing and spending money on it.

Read that article about aim assist, it's pretty damn good
I play on a console, where jailbreaking it would be pretty risky for me and I don't have the money for a new one.
That said, look at my footage recently, there is no aim assist when the rampart moves. How can you argue that? Someone said "Oh ItS yOuR sEtTiNgS" well no, its aim assist, it works regardless of any controller setup.
While I only play on console and for fun, never did any tournys, the question not one of you mnk players have been able to answer for me is - If aim assist with a controller is so great, why not use a controller?
I do not understand why nobody answered this for me. Clearly using a controller is so much easier and better cause of aim assist, at least thats what you all keep arguing.
- 5 years ago@SolitaryMassacre I came from console and i was very good with controller, but i never felt good about myself because since destiny 1 i knew that aim assist was a thing, and i wanted my aim to be good only because of me, not because some built it software is aiming for me, i could have switch to PC and kept using controller on apex, and probably i could have reached pred since season 2, but AA it's like learning to ride a bike with training wheels and you never take them off because you can't ride it without them, where is the fun on that?
And why should i throw 2 years of m/k learning only because everyone is using controller on PC just to get advantage, i have principles.
