Enable gyroscope built into the body of the Switch console not the joycon one
Spoiler
Enable gyroscope built into the body of the Nintendo Switch console not the joycon one.
- Congratulations to the team at EA and Apex Legends for the successful launch of this great game on the portable console of the moment. Behind a great game there should be a team getting feedback from the community to further improve the product.
- I have Turok2 on the Nintendo Switch console and a pair of Hori Split Pad Pro joycons, these joycons do not have a built-in gyroscope, and they can only be used connected to the console in portable mode. But when running the Turok2 game and activating the gyroscope in the game, the gyroscope works even though my Hori Split Pad Pro joycons have no built-in gyroscope.
- This is due to the fact that the body of the Nintendo Switch console has a built-in gyroscope inside, which does not depend on the gyroscope built into the joycons. A large growing majority of users of the Nintendo Switch console and Apex Legends game use this type of joycons that do not have an integrated gyroscope because those controls are designed to be more comfortable in the hands of an adult person. It would be great if EA and Apex Legends development team could enable the Apex game to use the gyroscope that is integrated into the body of the console itself when the joycons are attached (regardless of whether or not they have a built-in gyroscope) so the 100 % of users who play Apex Legends in portable mode can have the option of activating motion controls to play and thus enjoy the benefits of gyroaiming.
