People should not be able to ping spam "enemies" when they are downed nor their banned once their crated. The easy solution would be to limit the frequency at which you can ping, but really there should be a short ban after the game to teach people not to be a**holes in the first place.
Yes this is insanely annoying, but I just always mute random teammate pings when they start doing that. This is also a major reason why I always try to play with friends. Playing with randoms is absolutely unbearable. This likely will never happen but an avoid player feature would be nice, so we could temporarily or permanently avoid a specific teammate.
The devs need to address this issue immediately. Simply put, we need more options. We have options for everything else, such as muting VOIP and other communications. I think the devs see the current ping system as their pride and joy, and rightfully so. But it doesn't mean the current system is without flaw.
Spamming ping for any reason is trollish. And the devs continuing to allow this behavior is trollish on their part too. Apex is a game of precise and timely decision making and being constantly distracted by an irritating noise is counterproductive.
@DaWiz2015no need to touch that if the matchmaking would really work solely skill based. a skilled seasoned player knows not to spam * bcs it distracts the one guy still standing
