While I agree that 3d res sampling option is becoming a standard and it would be nice to have it in Apex, this seemed odd to me:

"APEX looks horrible if you play it in 1080 on a 4K monitor!!! I'm not able to identify any friend or foe starting at mid range because in the distance it just renders lose blobbs of unidentifiable pixels."

Characters are 3d, they would look the same if you lowered 3d resolution, they aren't 2d gui elements.
