@Koochi-QI think you are right. I didn't even think about it until now. Yesterday it did seem like unless I dropped hot I was not likely to see much action in the first circle. As you said, there's always people disconnecting, so the lobbies are rarely full. But it definitely seems to be more empty.
I tried the solo drop myself. It's a nice option for doing challenges without leaving 2 team mates hanging.
I think they should just go back to the old challenge system and give us a legit solo mode. This system makes me not want to do challenges in the first place which I think is why people drop solo just to get them out of the way.
