FFS - FIX MATCHMAKING!!!

I'm sorry, but frustration has finally given way.......

Matchmaking in Apex is beyond f@#$!*g broken. I mean, there are no words to describe it's condition. If 'selfie' and 'emoji' can be added to the English dictionary, then I'm pretty sure we can add a new definition of 'broken' that represents something on par with this mess.

I don't know why it's so hard to match players with higher skill to other, similar players. So many other games have done it successfully. (Halo 2, MW2, Battlefield BC2, BF3, BF4) Why is it so hard for you? Sure, my listed examples are not exactly the beacon of variety, but at least they made their games balanced with a fair and aesthetic player-matching experience.

Quoting player numbers isn't really a valid excuse at this point. For that 'small amount of players' you talk about that are in the higher tiers, just give the lobby time for a match shorter, decrease the size of the lobby, then decrease the size of the map, JUST DO SOMETHING!! It really seems like you're asleep at the wheel or genuinely couldn't be bothered with returning all of the calls players have made about the matchmaking system. Short of being the jaded girlfriend that invades your life after CLEARLY expressing that something was wrong, I'm not sure what you expect the player base to do? I must admit, I wouldn't want to listen to half of the crap we give feedback for. Much of it would seem like gibberish from anti-social loners who enjoy yelling abuse at the TV when they miss their last shot with the G7, only to have preverbial salt rubbed into the wound when they player who killed them is rank 7, already has a 20 kill badge and curved his bullets around a care package to remove your last shred of patience.

Case in point.....

A game I played earlier this week saw my 'casual' squad and I matched with a player who had over 35,000 kills and teammates who both had over 8 kills each and predator badges. HOW is that even possible? Not only is their skill ceiling OBVIOUSLY well above mine, but WHY ARE THEY BEING MATCHED IN GAMES THEY SHOULDN'T BE IN (sorry to go all caps, but I thought it adds to the severity and legitimacy of my quarrel)

Today was no better. Game after game was more of (co-incidentally) the same. I mean, I could go on and on, but I'm running out of steam and the neighbour came over as he mistakenly thought I was beating my wife with how hard I'm hitting the keyboard.

Please......FFS....FIX MATCHMAKING.......The joke has gone on for long enough.

@PunchMyFudge007 Matchmaking -> Complete destroy your gameplay experience. If it continues like this, I think of deleting the game.

Sbmm made the game boring
back then you could sit and play for 10 hours
but now you get on and play and see a sweat lobby and you say i dont wanna play this sh*t.i mean sbmm should changed or removed
i feel devs dont know what they are doing or they dont play on high tier pubs lobbies
public is supposed to be fun and ranked competitive.how many players should make topics about sbmm?
how many streamers should complain?
This has been a problem since season 3 and not even one person that works on this game came and explained sbmm for us

I gave up on them last season it seems they just dont care about their players

Matchmaking in Casual? What Matchmaking? Hmm
I don't see any such thing as any sort of match making going on with Casuals, I play Random all the time, I'm LVL 464, and I play pretty much with LVL 30-50 players on Average.
I rarely see players at LVL 100, 200, 300, 400....
It makes me think, either these higher level players are with their own friends/team mates, or they're not sticking around, leaving the game...
P.S. I've been in a bunch of clans, but they were mehhhh, but it's time again to start looking for another Clan to join, Random playing really SUCKS!

In some servers duo to lower player base there is no matchmaking i guess you are in one of them or you are a bot that plays in low tier pub lobbies(sorry)
But there is matchmaking and i hate people saying there is not because its a disaster and makes you wanna puke in your *

Guess you're the all-knowing wannabe who actively searches for a chance to disagree with someone, purely to add some form of incoherent banter that literally serves no purpose. Nothing you have said makes any sense,unless of course you're one of the developers that's masquerading as an underdeveloped teenager still waiting to go through puberty.
5 seasons of APEX would suggest something a little more 'substantial' than being a bot or put into low-tier lobbies......whatever that means. But sure, let's add your input and file it with the details of your failed abortion.

@Faryan735 There have been countless posts about sbmm, players have mentioned that there isn't sbmm in casual, but there is, i think it's just very light and based on if you're a vet player you get paired with 2 new/casual players since its casual after all and the game expects you to carry your team. Ranked on the other hand definately has sbmm, maybe somehow the restrictions on sbmm in casual can be lifted to make it more random.

@MoNosDirtyGaming Exactly.i dont wanna carry because there is no reward for playing sweaty in pubs.and the game already has a ranked mode so whats the point.casuals should be filled with RANDOM players.i think protection of new players is necessary but when they reach lvl 50 or 60 they should not be matched against each other again.this keeps new players in the same skill level because they are getting in lobbies with each other all the time.i mean people who got good at the game for example season 1 or season 2 players learned how to play by playing against good players.

@Faryan735 You're exactly right, but there will always be them players who exploit the system that's made to protect new players by creating smurf accounts.
