Firing Range Possible Changes
The firing range is cool and all, but there's a few changes and quality of life things that could be added to make it better. By no means am I trying to replace Battle Royal or Arenas, its simply an alternative way to spend our time that isn't dealing with the matchmaking, anticheat nonsense, toxicity, etc.
1) Allow joining friends who are already in firing range, joining them after leaving the firing range, (when you leave normally, crash, or code:net), and even joining when they have a full squad already in the firing range. Firing range is meant for practice and even to mess around, why cap it at 3 players?
2) Better AI, the easter egg is cool and all, but the bots act nothing like players, something like (https://answers.ea.com/t5/General-Feedback/Feature-Request-FR-DUMMIE-2-0/m-p/10387971#M81212) would be cool. (even let the AIs look and act like a legend of coice or random, be able to get knocked down for finishers or revives. AIs who look like a legend can also use the skin of the last player to kill them, or a random skin that's unlocked by that player or all players in that firing range just for fun)
3) Picking up ammo stacks is like how it is in arenas - please quit making us stand there for 100-300+ ammo to slowly spawn back in (and an option for unlimited ammo)
4) (ties into #1) allow multiple teams in firing range, players could practice different formations and tatics against randoms or other teams, all players can toggle group voice chat and team chat simply by using the friendly fire option - which would change into solo, team, group.
> "Solo" means the players are all by themselves and can hurt each other (what else did you expect?).
> "Team" puts people into the team they squadded up with, and they can even select their team combination (leaving the firing range while in another squad's "team" doesn't switch the actual players from their lobbies, only on the firing range's "team"), with teams, you also obviously could guess that anyone not on the team is treated like an enemy.

>> Players can start firing range as a "host" and gets certain permisisons which is: the host (defaults to the firing range's starting squad's party leader) can kick out other players from own squad and other squads who join (either by random or friends/friends of friends if set to that), as well could be the main person who can change the friendly fire mode. Sometimes you get trolls, toxic people, etc. and even in a firing range, being able to remove these players would be nice. The changing of the modes is so random players can't just toggle it a million times to be annoying. It could be set to allow friends permission to mode toggling. Legend changing would still be free to anyone to switch whenever.
5) Allow us to play on the actual maps or create a "hologram" space where the firing range changes into another map. By hologram, I mean the map visually changes from what it was set to and smoothly transitions into the selected map. The holograms can just be the named areas from King's Canyon, World's Edge, and Olympus.
6) Charge tower is alright, but add something that can be used whenever, no cooldown, that lets us charge up ults... although some legends like Gib's might require a cooldown, or *coughbetterserverscough* people sometimes want to try different ults, and having to wait or charge up is a bit time consuming
7) Support deathboxes and respawning - sometimes practicing recovery tactics is a great skill to have, could make 1/4 useful where you could have an enemy team try and stop the revive. Deathboxes could also just be used to hold items so its easier to repickup what you lost. (This would add an option to disable auto respawn on death)
8) "Custom" modes - let us edit how we can play in firing range. This could be toggling an arena style (without the shop/crafting), arm and dangerous, etc. just for the fun of it and to practice different loadouts and game rules, even if the LTM isn't out or coming back. What makes Apex mainly fun is playing with friends, or simply people you get along with and enjoy playing with.
9) In the pause menu (where you can switch characters, change settings, or leave), add a "respawn" button incase players want to reset to reslide down the hill, reset if they somehow got glitched or bugged out, etc.
10) This part isn't much of a complaint or requires change, but when knocked down, getting finished, if we switch characters make it no longer say "[Player] commited suicide", its better if it just said "[Player] bleed out".
