Fix SBMM!!

t@SmallZzyHe hasn’t ranked back up to master/predator yet but even if he does its likely you would still be matched up with him because of the decrease in players, especially in higher lobbys where its simply impossible to have 60 players of each tier at any given time of the day if it even is possible to do that once a month... even in bronze its bronze through gold players in silver its bronze through low plat occasionally so its just not possible without longer queue times... imo they should remove ranked mode and just make ‘’casual’’ ranked because casual ‘’play apex’’ is nothing other than a ranked mode... so just remove ranked and put all players in casual ranked and add ranked solos/duos for the other queues as there is nothing casual about apex legends anymore

personally Im on the verge of quitting, i went from no lifeing this game from whenever i woke up to whenever i went to bed some days on the weekend to barely even playing for dailys and rushing to get off as quick as possible... its just not enjoyable for me anymore unless im solo to do my own thing and wouldn’t be playing at all but I already wasted apex coins on the battlepass so I might aswell finish it, ive been playing fortnite more than apex and i dont even play fortnite too long as its not my style but it atleast has solos, duos, ranked solos, ranked duos, squads, team rumble, and other LTMs available to do so your not always stuck in a squad and can have your space and do other game modes whenever you are tired of the same dejavu.... im not saying Apex needs this many game modes but it could atleast have squads solos duos and a weekly changing LTM to give players a variety of game modes to choose from and it would bring alot of players back to apex which would make queue times quicker and more revenue for the game (CrossPlay would help)

The above may seem off topic but when you think about all of the players that have quit over not only the lack of game modes but also all of the bugs that have never been fixed and other problems like facing predators every game because of SBMM, overtime the skill gap between players will keep increasing and increasing as more and more players quit and eventually you will have gold and plats facing predators every match and players will continue quitting and quitting... I don’t have a problem with most of my opponents skills, im just sick of having to follow teammates everywhere because most of the time they just loot whenever I want to fight

The SBMM is broken because of all the predators complaining about having to play against other sweaty predators at their skill level because they want to be able to slaughter the lesssr skilled players, which I dont understand personally. As a gamer you should want to be challenged and play against people your level or slighty higher level, its not impressive to watch you annihilate players that cant match your skill. Respawn has been tweaking the sbmm system to appease all players but its pissing me and a lot of people off because there are always predators in the lobbies now, last night I saw at leaset 8 predator trails in a game, and I can admit Im not at that level and im always dying to them and it makes the game so not fun anymore! Ive even had a team follow me on 4 jump towers to kill me, wtf is that crap? Super sweaty kill hungry preds and its disgusting and annoying.

Im a 1st week player and I'm very close to quitting Apex because of how ridiculous these sbmm tweats have been. Season 4 is by far the worst season ever!

SBMM is a nightmare for Asian players, but we didn't give up. We should trust EA again. Don't give up easily

I think they are experimenting with the upper and lower skill thresholds for ranked to make it actually become harder and harder to progress from plat 4 to plat 3, and plat 3 to plat 2 etc etc. Because last seasons, there wasnt really a difference in the skill required to progress; if you were good enough to get out of plat 4, then you would also get to diamond, given enough time etc. So to make this possible, given the size of the player base, I guess they have to allow platinum to play with Diamonds (and also golds).

I just had a plat game where the champions squad was one plat, one diamond and one silver(?). Dont ask me how that was possible but its true. I actually got killed by the silver hehe

@Babbediboopi That silver is probably a smurf account ranking it up to sell it. Should have reported him.

@BamBaCitA Im half tempted to make a twitter account called "Fix Apex SBMM" and just post a pic of every match I get into with preds with 20 kill badge, 4000 damage badge etc. Obviously I'll blank names because its against ToS to Name & Shame.

Probably but thats not whats strange. The strange thing is that it can exist a ranked game with diamonds, platinums, golds and silvers.
