Footsteps have been almost impossible to hear lately — not just for me, but for my whole squad. Enemies are super quiet while allies are way too loud.
The friends I play with all have the same issue, so I'm sure it's not a personal bug. We've checked our settings and setups, and it's consistent across matches on both PC and console.
It's really hurting awareness and making fights feel unfair. Hope the team can take another look at the audio balance soon.
Welp, after three months of playing I can confirm, nothing changed. It is still just as bad. This issue was not present in the earlier seasons, audio was fine.
they can't fix anything other than making everything worse. so many players use wallhacks , they have good oppurtunity. they are making game worse. that's all they can do as a company. so many players use scripts , zen and chronus, this is really unfair game. should delete rather than begging them to fix this.
I agree unfortunately, at this point I can understand all the wall hacking... its the only counter to absolutely horrid audio.
