I've been talking about this with friends for about a year now, and I'm finally sharing it. I'm not sure if anyone else has had the same thought, but I desperately want an Eject button. It would basically be a reverse "hold to break off." When you're the jump master, if your squad of randoms hasn't broken off after a certain amount of time since drop, you can force eject them so they don't land two inches away from you, jack all the loot, and leave you with nothing. I'm thinking they would essentially veer off towards whichever side of you they're on, just barely, but then be separate so you can freely land where you want without them on a leash. Thoughts?

@JimPinnuchi This idea would actually be perfect for the jumpmaster, but.. now players may land 100 metres from one another and get frustrated af when they die and no one is around to help them.

@MoNosDirtyGaming They have all the power in the world to manually break off before landing, but there are imbeciles who stick with you all the way down before swiping anything and EVERYTHING in their way even of they don't need it before running off into the sunset leaving you defenceless against whoever you come across.So yeah, having a detach option when a couple hundred metres from the ground would be really handy for people like me who find themselves jumpmaster every damn match even if they're first pick

@MoNosDirtyGaming Jumpmaster can't jump solo, and if someone still does that this far into the game then they're not worth playing with. I'm the only one who seems to manually pick my character when in lobby so I always end up as jumpmaster and land wherever I want, usually the scumbags solo drop but sometimes they aren't even invested enough to do that which is when the ability to shake them off without the need of a balloon or something would come in handy

Join a friend, let them be party lead, you'll most likely be last pick because its their party, and you'll see for yourself, I've played enough bloody games to know this.LOL how are you going to contradict yourself in your own statement, you want the solo feature and now you're saying solo jumping shouldn't be a thing?By solo jumping you dive faster, you have more of a chance of actually grabbing loot, and not having your moronic teammate take your ammo for the gun YOU picked up. Having a feature where teammates are allowed to only break off a few hundred metres from the floor is idiotic and should not ever be suggested ever again, this instantly ruins some of the fluidity of the game.And I'm sorry but if you are unable to kill a full squad on your own then apex isn't the game for you, teammates leave every game, teammates always jump solo to different places, teammates disconnect, you get into a fight and teammates disconnect, if you rely on teammates, play warzone, this game might of been structured around squad play but community wise it is far from it. It's NOT toxic, you must just be bad at the game if you rely on teammates to get the kills, means you NEED to be carried every single game and your aim is bad. @Pure_Funk_Nugget I see your point, but I'm not suggesting the jumpmaster ejects their team and lands halfway across the map. I just think they deserve the option for a little nudge to be able to get a weapon and some ammo without a loot goblin stealing everything. We've all dealt with greedy teammates that take everything even if they don't need it. Your team could still all land in the dame building or area of a location, but the eject option would give the jumpmaster the ability to simply land at a different door of that same building to get something to use

Just to clarify, of course teammates can still break off of the jumpmaster at any time. The Eject ability however would only be available to use by the jumpmaster after X amount of time since dropping or X meters off the ground (closer to landing). The point of that is so that if you do get teammates that are choosing to stay by you, you can't eject them immediately off the ship and leave them stranded if they were willing to work as a team with you. It's more to create a small cushion so they don't land directly on top of you if they haven't broken off themselves close to landing. I'm not saying the Jumpmaster gets a solo drop option. Just a little nudge away for a better landing. Thanks for your input.

@Sir_Named Oh I do, if anyone has the gall to suggest a landing spot after being jerks in the lobby then I'll happily pass it over to them, take a guess what happens next though, it gets passed around until I'm once again jumpmaster...

Spineless * is all I ever get queued with and the rare occasion someone else actually jumps it's usually to land far and safe from the action

@JimPinnuchi A force break off would be very useful, its because of this reason I choose to not be the jumpmaster and just relinquish and switch to drop solo so they can relinquish it back and forth and its not my problem

Would love to see a forced break off on X height, i don't think it's that big of an issue but be an amazing Qol update.

@MoNosDirtyGaming I don’t see how if you aren’t able to kill a whole squad then the game isn’t for you. You have people who spam with R-99 and Devotions all the time

@Sylvester9991 Because SBMM is so trash that that's the only option you have left if you wish to win a game, unless you want to hide all game and third party the last squad. Every single time I play this game I HAVE TO kill the entire squad by myself, if I don't, then I lose, because my teammates suck, even in ranked, doesn't make a difference, its only on the rare occasion that they're good.

How can you spam with an R99 when the clip empties in less than 2 secs? A devotion has limited ammo, I believe you mean a havoc.

@MoNosDirtyGaming The havoc empty’s it’s mag in like 4 seconds. I don’t see how that is more annoying then an R-99.
