Forced to play 2 vs 3 in ranked, with penalty for leaving?

No, it's not idiotic. In ranked the playing field should be even for everyone, especially when you are playing against same-skilled opponents. 3 players vs 2 players on the same skill level? Do the math lol.

I'm still for the penalty, but I do agree with @MystLiner04 . There should always be a 3 man squad when starting a match. Casual is fine, but when playing against others of the same "caliber" in ranked, there should be no reason why one squad is already down one man.

If you don’t even try and just leave you deserve the penalty for leaving your other teamate solo Ive won games before duo vs 3 so using the 2 vs 3 isn’t a legit excuse

Im not saying its right for it to queue you with 2 vs 3 or even solo to begin with but your still supposed to try... I mean its your choice lose alot of RP and get a Penalty or atleast attempt to play the match

The biggest mystery is why Respawn allow teams of two and sometimes just one to be put in match in the first place. I understand that you cant control if someone DCs but sometimes, it seems like you get into the Legend selection with an incomplete team. I think everyone would rather wait a couple of seconds longer to get a complete team, both in casual and ranked.

Yeah, good luck winning 2v3 in Diamond/Predator. It's theoretically possible, yes, but it won't happen unless maybe you're top 3 player in the world.

Also, you HAVE to get kills to gain RP, unless you make it to top 2. If you get top 3 without kills, you will still lose RP.

You won 2v3 in bronze whoop whoop, go into arena and see how many you win 2v3 then keep that same energy 🤡

Just a idea, I play halo and if we are short a player or quits, seconds later a player gets put on the team. Just a idea but doubt they would do it.
