@TheJumpingJawaHonestly I feel the same way, the only way I would return active in long term is the addition of solos, I think the reason most randoms choose not to use mics are the same reasons I myself choose to not use a mic...
1. I don’t even want to communicate and talk to other players period... I want to be alone
2. Leaving mic on invites players to be toxic wether thats verbally or text chat so I intentionally hit the mute squad button every match before I even see the character selection screen...
3. Most players don’t know how to correctly use a mic in a constructive manor that is actually beneficial to the match, ive only had 1-2 random players since I started apex that actually helped me and guided me through the game to a win by explaining what movements they were going to make and what we should make etc
4. All of the unnecessary and distracting back ground noises... wether thats static, keyboard clicks, someone screaming at their siblings/parents, some baby crying, tv, people talking to others in the same room, etc
