@TheLionsPathI’m not going to get too much into the politics debate but what I am going to say is in the future they need to add those types of badges into the apex store for 100 legend tokens or completely free so the players who actually do want the badges can get them and for all of the players that don’t they are not forced to keep them on their account forever even if they disagree with the political messages behind the badges because every time they force another badge onto the player base it stirs up an uproar in the community and makes us even more divided then we would of been without the badges... these badges don’t have to be limited time badges they could just add a separate tab somewhere to make them available permanently for free to the players that want them in the future
I haven’t actually tested Seer out yet so I can’t comment too much but what I am going to say about the comparison to Valkyrie is that Valkyrie is a movement based legend and Seer is not... Apex Legends is basically Mobility legends and if you do not have movement based abilities you are not going to be popular unless you are completely broken like Lifeline with her constant auto revives with no cooldown or Bloodhound throwing out scans everywhere for free wall hacks... from what I have seen Seer isn’t as easy to use as Bloodhound and requires a bit more accuracy to get info from his scans
Wattson, Rampart, Fuse, Caustic, Gibraltar, etc have no movement based abilities which is why they have low pick rates, once Revenant got alittle more mobility with his passive his pick rate went up but Im not sure by how much... if they would actually buff Wattson and Caustic to be viable defensive legends then we would see an end to the Revtane meta... but currently we just see octane bouncing everywhere, valkyrie and horizon going into space, pathfinder swinging everywhere like tarzan, while the defensive legends are just being stomped on as soon as they need to move to a next ring location because in open fields there isn’t much they can do against movement based legends
