Game Crash, No Rejoin Option

We all love your game, it's amazing!

The thing is, for a lot of us, the game crashes or you randomly disconnect from the server. Please give the option to reconnect! So many games where we're the last among 3 squads and then just randomly, my friend gets kicked or me.

I understand you can't just disconnect - disappear in-game and then reconnect. But if your character will just stand there in the exact same position, there should be an option to restart Apex and then join your squad.

Hope you take something like this into consideration!

Totally agree, we lost so many matches because one of us get kicked during the last teamfight - it's absurdly annoying. A chance to reconnect would do wonders.

PLEASE PUT A FREAKIN RECONNECT FEATURE ON YOUR GAME, IT CRASHES SOMETIMES AND FREAKIN KICKS OUT PLAYERS DUE TO ERROR "PARTY LEADER QUIT" AT LEAST SHOW SOME DEVELOPMENT ON THE GAME BY PUTTING THIS FEATURE SO NO ONE CAN RAGE AFTER SUDDENLY BEING KICKED OUT OF THE GAME BECAUSE OF SOME STUPID ERROR. PLEASE PUT THIS SO NO ONE CAN RAGE AT YOUR GAMES. THIS IS A FRIENDLY REMINDER THAT NEEDS TO BE RESPONDED ASAP.

No reason to use CAPS on all your letters, its just annoying to read.

And yes, the recconect feauture have been suggested 10000x times and I hope they add it.

3 games in a row disconnected or crashed. I'm done trying...

1st match - 3rd or 4th round and the game just closed itself.

2nd match - Got queued with no1 at all, still played. Late rounds, game lost connection to the server...

3rd match - We were owning squads left to right. On the last rounds, in the middle of a * firefight and it loses connection to the server again...

There's not even a * option to reconnect, what a joke.

And no, it's not on my end. Computer and internet connection working just fine, as usual..

We'll make sure Respawn gets this discussion here. We've seen this type of suggestion mentioned on both these forums and the official subreddit, however at the moment we're not aware of any upcoming plans around implementing this. We've also seen some suggestions for a cooldown system like mentioned here

My initial concern around this is whether it could be exploited to avoid dying in a battle, however in some other games you'll have your character stand still or get taken over by a bot. While we'll make sure suggestions like this make it up to the development team to review for making improvements to the game, I think what we need to do is first fix the root cause of this: disconnections and crashes.

If you're experiencing those, I recommend using the search bar in the Technical Issues board to find solutions to help keep you in the game. We will always strive for making improvements to server stability, but for connectivity issues a one solution for all is not always possible. Everyone has different internet service providers, routers, firewall settings, hardware/wiring setups, etc. One person already mentioned in this discussion they've never really experienced a disconnection, so it could be a lot of some players and never at all for others.
