Game is incredibly stale

@InvisibleOnionJust from reading the first few paragraphs, it sounds like you don't like the game at all. If so, why do you play it? There are other options you know...

If the entire game is boring, why are you playing it?

You don't have to spend money on the characters. Plus, you don't have to like them either. I also highly doubt that anyone would want to talk to an insane robot or deranged scientist, the point is that they're fictional characters. This isn't a bestselling novel.

Most characters are viable. I'm sorry, but this is a git gud moment. If you're good, you can beat other characters. Just keep in mind that you may have to use a different strategy.

They buffed King's Canyon loot recently, plus if you literally look in more than a few supply bins, chances are you'll find better stuff.

If the other teams who drop are invisible, this can mean three things. 1. You simply aren't rendering them. 2. You just aren't watching closely enough. 3. It's a mirage decoy, which will disappear upon landing. Also, if people who are landing after you are able to get stuff faster than you, that's just on you. You have to be faster then. You also don't have to go to a hot drop. What did you expect? For everyone to get the same stuff and then have a "fair" fight?

Getting shot doesn't stop your slide. Plus, some characters are immune or have abilities that offset this.

It's because it has different characters. Kind of like Overwatch. Each character has their pros and c.ons, just get used to it. (c.o.n.s. is apparently censored. I think it may be a bad word in French)

You can pick up weaker loot, on ps4 it's triangle. You might have to swap it out for something though if your inventory is full.

I'm fairly certain there is an option to increase volume, just look for it in settings.

The ping system is good. This sounds more like your teammates are bad. Also, the character lines are different, my suggestion is that you don't follow what the character says and just try to understand the ping itself. (Usually, a regular ping just means I think we should go there. If you hold down ping button there is also more options) You don't have to ping hop-up multiple times, it will say in the chat what hop-up you need.

The gun problem. This is literally how guns work in like every game. Some are full-auto, some are semi-auto, some are bolt-action. This is a basic skill, and this is truly, simply, just get good.

I'm not exactly sure what animation you mean. There's an inspect animation, which can be annoying, but should rarely ever be the deciding factor. The reload animations and animations in between shots are basically essential.

Camping is literally a part of ever battle royale. Deal with it. It's strategy. There are also characters who are better equipped to deal with campers. Bloodhound has a big scan radius, or Wraith who can basically turn invincible for a short period of time.

Well, yeah there are going to be audio cues and visual effects for abilities. Do you think that every ability should be completely silent and so nobody can know what's going on? Also, yeah some abilities are really noticeable, but others aren't. Most normal abilities aren't that noticeable from range, (at least audio-wise. You can probably just see the ability taking effect if you looked).

The ranked thing is a bug and is supposed to be fixed at some point.

Well, yeah, losing isn't enjoyable. Did you think it would be? Winning is pretty rewarding. It sounds like you are still at a low skill area, so third partying is your best bet, but if you get better you won't have to third party so much.

If this is your experience, I'd recommend doing other battle royales. You don't seem to have the necessary basic knowledge of battle royales, and it doesn't sound like you have many games to choose from. Apex is also a free game, so it really isn't required (at all) for you to spend even so much as a penny.

Since you've never done other battle royales, I'd recommend doing Fortnite or pubg to get better.
