Can someone tell me why I launch into a game without a squad way too often? I played yesterday and tried to keep track, every fourth or fifth game started without any teammates or one teammate missing. Why is this happening? Is it so hard to fill the lobby and then start the game? Im so tired of it now that I just leave straight away, im not wasting any time looting up just to get rolled by a full squad. This should never happen imo and I can't understand what is so difficult about it, fill up the lobby and start the game. It shouldn't even be an issue... This happens in ranked too, not to the same extent but still happens every once in a while. Granted, you get loss forgiveness every time but the amount of times you end up gaining RP are rare, you're usually just free KP for another team and get sent back to the lobby.

I actually won a game that way once. Was alone right at the start, camped in a corner. No kills, no damage, haven't seen anyone, and all of a sudden, you're the champion 🙂 Ok but that was just 1 game. All the others I died at some point.

@Burnie_00 I literally didn't have 2 PEOPLE twice in a ROW.Please fix your matchmakiiing

@Burnie_00 It's generally your team crashing when they load into matchmaking, because of the update they did recently that's crashing everyone.About 20% of my games I'm solo, and another 70% I lose one teammate before or during the game to crashes, It's a rarity to get a game with a full squad by the end...

This is like a constant on duo's for me maybe if I'm lucky i will get a teamie 1 out of 10 games....more luck on trios but happens aswell but way less. It even once happened to me while i was in a lobby with a friend. My friends said it kicked him out with some or other token error. Another thing that is happening and this might be linked in some way is if you get kicked from a match for any reason i cannot reconnect to the match. Sooooo off pissing aswell

Haven't experienced solo yet but when i see in the legend selection that there are only 2 of us in stead of 3 i leave right after the selection. No need to waste time pretending i can win that.

Yeah, the amount of times that I would queue up for a game this season and be short one or two teammates, was unreal. Not only that, But a lot of the times, if I was missing one teammate at the legend selection screen, the other one would either leave before launching off the dropship, or would "launch", But just be AFK at the whole time.

So, yeah, between this and then just the normal leavers and such that you usually get in Apex, I can't tell you how many games I've played this season where I'm at least one teammate down before we even plant our feet on the ground.

It's beyond frustrating. I don't pick Duos or Trios to play by myself, you know? If I wanted to play on my own, there's plenty of single player games out there for that purpose. I have little interest in playing these 1v3, 2v3, and 1v2 scenerios I keep being put in.

And, now, the Devs are talking about putting that "No Fill" mode in. Which, for a player like me, does absolutely nothing. It's not true Solos, it will basically just give me what I'm dealing with now. And it sucks.

I either want to play a true solo mode where it's one person per squad on every team. Or, I want to play Duos and Trios where I actually get the number of teammates that I'm supposed to for the appropriate match, and they actually play the game.

I know, crazy, right?! I want to play a *multiplayer* game with and against *multiple* people. Gasp...

this has been happening to me since my pre-made squad quit because of the SBMM abuse. I keep preaching solos for these reasons.

@Burnie_00 Yeah I think most of the time if you are missing one that player got an error and could not rejoin the squad.

If you get a code leaf or similar you attempt to rejoin and the first attempt fails 100% of the time. The second attempt works, but you are then in the lobby as the game only allows one reconnect attempt to rejoin your existing squad.

Huge problem. One reconnect attempt to your squad? What genius came up with this? One freaking attempt...then booted back to lobby once you actually do reconnect.

Ive come across this problem before but I notice a way around this.
Either on Xbox or PlayStation, I don't assign the IP and manually enter the IP into the console devices. I notice when I do this it seems to place me into a group straight away for a couple of games before it goes back,
But assigning your IP seems to circumvent this...

@Burnie_00 I think part of the issue is because of the players getting crashes because It will show 2/3 teammates then it will add the 3rd teammate at the last second but then it would show the red disconnected symbol and either A they rejoined and started playing or B they never came back and just got removed

Another possibility is that if you are someone who is known to instantly leave the game after you are downed maybe they either put you with people that are known to leave as well or put you last in line to fill up and if nobody comes they just throw you into the match alone (this is just an idea but no proof sometimes im totally alone and other times 2/3 players)

I completely agree since the no fill option has been added it happens WAY too often
